"Holy crap you almost got me off guard" I exclaimed laughing as they were still rolling on the floor from running. Sometimes they are the ones asking for it. "Oh come on we just ran the street up and down for what? 15 minutes?" we were on my backyard after running for a long time, and of course I made another race to get here, beating them.

They had tried to get me in but I was surprised and immediately made a movement that ended up in me running away and Pip, Mags and Resees running after me. By this point I already knew they were my friends, but hey, they should have known better than to surprise me by now.

"I am dying slowly, my soul is so tired it is numb" Pip wheezed painfully. "The cat I had when I was 6 years old, is that you?" she dramatically reached upwards as if seeing the light. Her hand then lowered itself and her head rolled to the side.

"Pip! Pip! Don't leave us like this! Come back, don't touch the light!" Clarisse squealed trying to move Pip but finding it hard because she was so tired. Mags and I were standing up side by side with our arms crossed as we viewed the ridiculous image. "Pip, who will help me in math? Why would you leave me with so many problems unsolved?" Pip almost smiled but caught herself and kept faking dead. Reeses was still trying to move her and make me feel guilty. Mags and I looked at each other and cracked a smile knowing exactly what to do.

"Well", Mags headed towards my house and I followed behind, "seems Des and I will have more ice-cream for ourselves" she grinned as we turned around and saw Pip immediately peaking with one eye. She closed it when she noticed we were looking. Reeses stopped shaking Pip and turned to us with a painful look.

"I was sure I had that gigantic Oreo ice cream for all of us to share, do you think we are capable of eating it just the two of us?" I asked Mags.

Pip and Reeses bolted to my house in a speed that maybe could have been faster than mine, "Nope, you can't" they exclaimed at us. Mags and I only had to share a worried look before running behind them. If we didn't get there in time it would be like the last time they came. They ate all of my ice cream before I got out of my shower. And to take things into perspective, I shower in less than ten minutes.

When Mags and I got to the kitchen we were lucky to find my mother already scolding Pip and Reeses for making her drop a package of her favorite cookies. "It is not proper to run inside of a kitchen do you know how dangerous that is?" my mother isn't the type to scold screaming or punishing, but her voice made her know how disappointed and worried she is making you look down in shame. And that is what my two dear friends were doing now, looking down in shame at the crumbles of cookies. "Why were you even running for?" she asked.

I laughed and hugged my mother kissing her cheek. She hugged me back but kept on with her scolding. I went to the refrigerator and started talking. "Mom you know them enough to already know", I finally found the container and held it up smiling towards my mother, "I told them about the Oreo ice cream"

Pip and Reeses were so enchanted by the ice cream they followed it with their whole bodies. And from the corner of my eye I saw Mags doing the same. "Why didn't they say so before? Everything is explained when it is ice cream" she tapped their heads and was about to go before she once again came back, "the both of you have to clean the floor, and don't tell me you are guests because we all know you are part of the family", she looked at me next, "and you have some explaining to do for that detention" she then left and I groaned in unison with Pip and Reeses.
