*some years ago (Aiden is 14)*
Aiden's POV:
'Aaaaaaaand here we go. Another day at school. Great! Just great!'
With a sigh, I slowly get out of bed. Since it's monday, today I have to go to school.
I make my way to the bathroom, grabing some clothes on my way while rubbing sleep out of my eyes.
The cold water sucessfuly woke me up when it hit my face. After quickly drying off, I put on the clothes.
Nothing special, just a simple white T-shirt, ripped black jeans and red jacket.
Picking up my school bag, I run downstairs and into the kytchen. My eyes land on a note my parents left me on the dining table.
'Hay Sweetheart!
Your father left on a buisness trip and will be coming back next month. I'm staying at work 'till 11:30 pm today. Your lunch is in the fridge. Have a great day at school honey!Love,
Mom ♡With an annoyed eye roll, I throw the note into the trashcan. I then take the lunch from mom,
hurrying to the door. I quickly put on my red converse before running off to school.
In front of the school building I see Mitch. He's a good friend of mine. Althought I have met him
only a two weeks ago, we are great friends. I was sitting alone in the cafeteria eating my lunch
when he suddenly walked up to me. I was surprised when he asked me to be his friend.
Mitch is quite popular at school. Especialy with the girls. But when we started talking, it turned
out he's not that bad. Since then, we have been hanging out whole two weeks.
I even told him my biggest secret, about me being trans.
Little did I know, it'd be my worst mistake!I smile and wave at Mitch hurrying over to him. But when he sees me, he just turns his back at
me, walking off with a group of jocks and cheerleaders. That took me by surprise.
'What was that? Did he just walked of completly ignoring me?!'
I just shake it off, making my way to my first class. But when I reach my desk, I stop dead in my track.
My desk was covered with writings. Words such as: "weirdo, f_cking homo, stupid emo, don't pretend to be a guy!"
With teary eyes, I look up. My sight lands on Mitch with his group of jocks.
Smirks on their faces unmistekable. A wave of laughter washes over me,
as the other kids starts to join them while piercing me with disgusted looks.
That was the day, when I learned that no one can be trusted in this world.
The day, when I started building brick walls, pushing everyone away.
And the day, when I finally left my old self behind, and entered into this world as someone else.
When my hair was cut and dyed half black, and Aiden was born into this world.
