*present time (before the first ep)*

Aiden's POV

It was a normal sunny Saturday somewhere in the middle of May.

I check the mailbox, impatiently looking for any letter. I was disappointed when I found it empty.

Some time ago, I found this advertisement that they are doing an audition for a reality show called "Disventure camp".

I already auditioned for previous season called "Adventure camp" but they rejected me for being considered "uninteresting".

'This could be my second chance'. With that, I tried again. All I need to do is wait now.

Althought, it's been few weeks, and still nothing. 'I was probably rejected again'.

Somehow I can't help but think bitterly. But as they say, Hope Dies Last.

And so, here I am. One day later, disbelivly staring at the letter.

A smile starts blooming on my face, like a sunflower reising it's head towards sun.

If I manage to win one million dolars, I can fullfil my dream and get out of here. I can move somewhere else and start a new life.

I won't have to keep explaining others I'm a boy, not a girl. I won't have to bear the weird looks everyone gives me.

I can just be myself.

And I still have some debts to pay. When I turned 18, I moved from my parents and started living on my own.

It wasn't much, just a small apartman with bedroom, kytchen and bathroom.

But it's not like I could really afford any luxury with my work at nearby café.

I found a summer job as camp counsellor to earn some pocket money.

I saved as much money as I could so I could have a sex reassignment surgery.

But even after a year of saving up, almost half was still missing.

Luckily I managed to convince my coworker to lend me some money, promising her I'll pay her back.

Thinks got worse when I got a call from my mom.  She told me that father had passed away due to an acident.

But the bad news doesn't end there, as I was told that mother needed a serious surgery.

Hospital bills cost me a lot, some days leaving me without food.

But now I got this chance. I could win one million dolars. Things could finally get better.

So here I am. With all the necesseries packed and letter firmly in my hands.

'I swear I'll try my best.'

'Disventure Camp,' I grip the letter tightly in my hands, 'here I come!'
