Aiden's POV
'Well, here I am. At the bus with a bunch of strangers.' Looking around, I take look at the other 13 participants.
Everyone else seems to already be friends. Especialy the girls. Althought, they all look kinda nice.
Except for that asian guy. I don't know, something about him just feels unfriendly.
'He kind of reminds me of Mitch.' The thought is shortly followed by goosebumps. The uneasy
feeling trailing over my arms and back. In chest, I felt a weird feeling, as if a cold hand squeezed
my heart tightly. It disapeared as quick as it apeared. My eyes once again fell on my rivals.
As I noticed the guy with gray curly hair and glasses sitting next to me, I speak before I could
bite my tongue: "Hey" He gave me a smile, "Oh, Hi" he said back. 'Damn it! Now I got to talk to
him so I don't look like a weirdo.' "Do we know each other? I feel like I've seen you somewhere."
'Great job Aiden! That's the best you could come up with?' The thought is followed by a mental facepalm.
To my surprise, and luck: "Maybe on television, I've been an intern in previous seasons." he said.
I feel myself smile a little. He doesn't seem so bad. "Oh, maybe that's it. I watched all the seasons just before I came here."
My sentence was soon followed with silence. I then heard others talking behind us.
The guy with green hair and pink haired girl seemed to be talking about some 'signs' and 'energy'.
With air being mentioned, their talk was interupted by a lady complaining about the air
conditioning, to which the asian next to her commented something about 'menopause'.
Last thing I managed to catch was the word 'joke', before the bus stopped.
"Attention campers! The bus broke down so I decided to call the host. She says that you must
follow the path along the road while running, and the last two to arrive will be eliminated..."
"FOREVER!"
The bus driver's puppet spoke. If I'm being honest, she kinda creeps me out.
"So you should run, morons." she added when no one moved from their seat. Snapping out of my thoughts, I rushed out of bus.
*few minutes later*
While running I joined this little group running in front of me. I thought I'd try and socialize with others.
The asian guy was just talking about some boring story about him reaching million followers on Instagram.
A guy in front of me suddenly spoke: "I hope during these weeks I can reach a million followers on TikTok."
'Oh, I'm guessing he's a TikToker.' I don't really use social media besides Instagram.
Not like I really have some time to surf on internet. Most of the time I spend working.
"You guys are super popular. I'm starting to get annoyed with my 200 followers on Instagram."
Talk about lame... *mental facepalm (again)*
"Don't worry. I'm going to upload a photo with you right now, I'm sure my followers will love you." said the guy in front of me.
