It is early one rainy winter evening in Los Angeles

The city is beginning to wake up and hustle like always

Billy and his girlfriend Mirra are dogs who live near mayberry.

Both of them are from Mexico and recently came to the us.

They were fresh new citizens.

While America was familiar in many aspects in terms

It was still a far cry from the small town they came from

Los Angeles was a beautiful city but it was very expensive and at times overwhelming.

But luckily Billy had a decent job in robotics and he knew some members of Chloe's family

He also met Ruly, Eugene and many others

They also both new English pretty well learning it before moving it to the us

They became friends with most people in their community who accepted them and helped them adjust

Billy worked in robotics and got a promotion in his company. This gave him the chance to work in the us.

*at their house*

Billy had some time off work due to a workplace injury he sustained at work.

Billy and Mirra are sitting on the couch.

Their baby puppy right in between them sitting.

The chonky little husky heeler mix cooed and then began rolling around

"What are you doing silly? Hehe" said Mirra giggling

"Careful mijo!" Said Billy with a chuckle and then a grunt due to being sore, making sure the rolly Polly pup doesn't fall off the couch

"Arf arf!" Damien barked cutely then climbing into Mirra's arms

"Awww my baby!" Said Mirra smiling and then laying down resting her head on Billy's lap as she cuddled Damien

Billy smiled and petted mirra's head

Damien began to fall asleep

Mirra held him close as he sunk into her fluffy warm fur

"Rest my sweet boy... mama and papa are right here " said Mirra with a warm

Damien smiled and let out a small squeaky yawn

"Agh! Puppy breath!" Said billy giving his girlfriend and his baby a kiss

Mirra giggles and nuzzles Damien

Damien begins to pass out

Billy drapes a blanket over Mirra and Damien since winter is in full Swing and it's cold

The warm blanket and the fluffy fur of his mother is what made Damien fully knock out

Billy smiled down at his girl and his pup

He smiled and kissed them both again before laying down cuddling them both

As the rain outside creates a nice ambiance. The tv displays a colorful cartoon with transforming robots

"Hang on to your dreams chip! The future is built on dreams! Hang on!" Said Optimus prime on the tv

This line stuck with Billy.

After hearing the line from optimus he looked down at Damien

He knew the puppy already had big dreams and ambitions to soon be realized as he grew

Billy loved his family and the new nation he and his family found themselves in

This was only the beginning of a new beautiful life in the city of angels and the land of the free
