The two walked to the Mystic Gateway. Atreus pulled out a sky blue rock and held it up to the gateway. The rocks and broken wood moved to make a door

"You ready?.." Atreus said

"No but it's better then staying here" She mumbled

"Yeah Fimbulwinter will clear out in a few days- anyways let's get going" atreus walked throught the Mystic door.

Iluka hesitatantly put her foot through the door.

Just go through it...

Her thoughts told her. After a few seconds she finally stepped through the door to see a bunch of blue..

Sky blue, dark blue, Aqua, a bunch of colors

"Holy s̶h̶i̶t̶" Iluka spoke

"What? You dizzy? Or just surprised--" atreus cocked his head to the side confused

"I-i I'm just surprised-- is this normal.. for you?" She asked looking around

"Yea.. but it's still kind of weird-" Atreus started walking again. Iluka followed

"Why?" She asked confused

"I mean I went through this alone before.. like when I escaped from Asgard-- but knowing my father isn't gonna be here waiting or looking for me it's just.. frightening" He said

-Iluka-

Father.. I wished I had what you had Atreus.. I can't help but get jealous at the fact you have a loving father.

I thought while listening to him

Suddenly a door without frames or a knobs appeared. Atreus sighed and walked through it.

Don't be scary Iluka just walk through

I walked through the door and a wave of heat hit my face. I scrunched it up

"Welcome to Muspelhime. Watch your wings.. there's alot of fire and lava but.. you probably already knew that-" Atreus cleared his throat and started walking

"Dosen't Surtr live here?" I asked following him keeping my wings close to my body

"Used to-.. after we created Ragnarōk and the war was over he kind of.. died.." He sighed and jumped across some rocks. I followed

"What about his wife??" I said

"His wife is still alive. We just didnt.. break the news to her- or maybe she already knows.." he says

"Then why are we here? Obviously he's f̶u̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ dead!" I stopped dead in my tracks waiting for a response

None.. no response from the half giant he just kept walking.

"Hey! Answer me you..." I stopped my words. I sighed and shook my head a bit obviously shouting wasnt gonna work and i have nowhere else to go..

I guess i just go with it and trust the process

"Here catch" Atreus then tossed me.. a ball?

"Wait.. how the hell did you get this?" I asked looking at the mysterious ball

"Did you not see me go up that hill.. or rock or whatever its called.." Aterus tilted his head in question

"What?! No i didn't and im blind!! I cant read this s̶h̶i̶t̶" I say as I almost throw the ball onto the ground. He caught my arm making me stop

"Do not! And i mean do not break this orb! It has a soul of a giant..." Atreus mumbles the last part

"HUH!?!"
