A.N: So, I am terribly sorry with how long it has been since I have written a story. Things in my life have been crazy with a capital C! So, this is a future chapter from the second Sanctuary story that I am writing. So, if you like this, then you should go and check out my story Sanctuary For All, and be on the look out for the next Sanctuary story! Thanks buds, and hope you enjoy!

I wake up at the shrill beeping of the fire alarm ringing through the halls of my school. But something is wrong. I am waking up on the floor of the hallway and there is not a student or teacher in sight. I painfully push myself off the floor and to my shaking feet.
"Hello!? Is anyone here?" My voice is cracked and dry and it rips against my throat. "Someone, please help! What's going on?" I run through the halls and go to the closest exit. I push at the door but it won't budge. I pound against the door and pray that someone hears me. "Someone, please help me." I fall to my knees and cough as smoke closes in on me. I lean against the door and my vision begins to blur.
"Please...." Someone grabs my arm and wraps it around their shoulders. "Who...?" The person shooshes me. It sounds like it's a woman.
"Don't talk, dear. We need to get you out of here." Someone lifts me up and pushes against the door. "Bloody hell. Will?" There is a whirring sound, and then I feel cool air brush onto my skin. Wait, I know that name. I force my vision to focus on the woman's face.
"Aunt Helen?" She looks down at me with wide eyes. "Where am I? Why are we not in the Sanctuary?" I feel my eye lids become extremely heavy and my head rolls back.

When I wake up for the second time I have an oxygen mask strapped to my face and I am laying on an actual bed. I sit up slowly and take the mask off. I look around the room and try to figure out where I am. Hazy images full of smoke fill my mind, and I find that I cannot even remember where I was before here.
"It's nice to see you awake." I look in the door way as a woman walks in. Her arms are crossed and she sits in a chair across from the bed. "You were caught inside a burning building. But no one knows how you got there. Annabeth, you worried us. We didn't know where you were, you cant just walk out like that, you need to let us know where you're going." I narrow my eyes. Annabeth? Was that my name?
"I- I don't remember that. Where am I? Who are you?" She stands and places the back of her hand on my head. Her eyes widen.
"Annabeth, you have a fever. What do you remember? Do you remember anything?" I shake my head and my breathing starts to get hard. She pulls a stethoscope out of her coat pocket and places it on my chest. "I can't figure out what's happening with you. What is happening? Fever, cough, amnesia?" She takes the stethoscope and puts it back in her pocket. "Annabeth, I want to do some blood tests, okay?"
"No, I can't stand blood or needles. Please no." Her eyebrows knit together.
"You've seen more blood and have more experience with needles than I care to admit. Where is this sudden phobia coming from?" I throw my fists down on the bed.
"I don't know! I don't remember anything! I don't remember who I am, who you are, where I am, nothing!" I cough violently, and she softly pushes me down to the pillows.
"Calm down. We don't want you to get too worked up. I understand that suddenly you have a fear of needles, but I have to run some tests. It's the only way to figure out how to get your memory back." I groan and weakly hold my arm out. She takes a needle and vial out of her coat pocket. She rubs the inside of my elbow with a wipe and wraps a rubber band tight around my arm. She then pokes me with the needle and attaches the vile, which quickly fills up with blood. Wait not blood, it's- "Black. Your blood is black." She steps back and points a gun at me. "Who or what are you? What have you done with my niece?"
