She walked through the halls along with Cho, on their way to breakfast. Yesterday was one of the biggest accomplishments she's had since she's gotten to Hogwarts and that's put her in the best mood a girl can dream of. Well, at least for her.

"What are you so cheery about, is it a boy?" Cho nudged her, smiling. "I can tell you've been all giddy today."

"It is about a boy you're right. " She grinned, but that grin was replaced with a frown as she watched Cho gasp enthusiastically. "But absolutely not in that way don't even suggest i could have any sort of romantic connection with that wanker."

Her friend frowned, a bit confused. "Er- what are you trying to say, darling?"

"I'm saying that i would rather stick needles into my eyeballs than have a relationship with Potter." Y/n scoffed, watching as students passed her by, some staring back at her.

"Don't say that Y/n! He's a bit cute, isn't he?" She once again nudged her, watching as the girl turned to her with the most horrified expression on her face.

"Don't ever associate the word 'Potter' and 'cute' in one sentence unless you want me to puke on the spot." She shook her head, horror painting itself on her face. "Enough talking about that toe."

"Why haven't you two ever gotten along? I've never quite understood honestly." Cho sighed, shrugging.

"Me neither. He's just too stuck-up and snarky and absolutely disgusting." Y/n kept walking with a smile on her face. "I despise him a lot."

"I can tell darling" Her friend smiled nervously. "But it's alright, we can't like everyone can we? I don't like every single person i meet, either." She shrugged.

"I usually do, this is a great exception. But nevermind that, we were meant to stop talking about Potter." She took a deep breath. "How are you and Cedric doing?"

"Quite well, actually! He's been so generous with me, always leaving me a note everyday. I can't believe i've gotten so lucky." Cho had a bright smile on her face, clearly very excited about her new relationship with the Hufflepuff.

"I'm happy for you. Although i can't say jealousy is not tearing me apart right now." They laughed together, stopping finally by the great hall. "I'll see you around, it was so nice to catch up, Cho."

"It was lovely Y/n, i hope to see you seen!" She waved her off, going to join her friends at the ravenclaw table. Y/n figured she'd do the same, from afar she watched Daphne and Draco bicker about something, while Blaise peacefully ate his breakfast.

Of course she'd much rather take a seat next to Blaise and eat in peace, instead of having to witness two of her friends yell at each other back and forth.

"Hi. How are you doing?" Y/n sat down, filling her cup with juice. "Watching those two fight will give me a headache so therefore i sat next to you." She smiled, taking a piece of toast.

"How i'm doing?" He deeply sighed. "I've been hearing these two imbeciles argue since we came here and i am absolutely drained, that's how i'm doing."

"You should be used to this by now. Nothing new happening if i'm being honest." Y/n carefully smeared butter on her toast. "What are they arguing about now?"
