( Dakota's POV)
After the food was finished, both Nova and I ate at the dining table I have sat at by myself for 4 years. If i'm being honest I was suprised that Nova was so quick to trust me again after I kidnapped her, not like im complaining or anything because I love that she forgave me and i love that she loves me back but, I wouldnt forgive the person that kidnapped me unless ive known then for like 6 years and I had a crush on them within those 6 years. I slerped up a noodle while thinking when Nova broke the silence. "So, how did you find out a-about me?" I heard the studder in her voice and just looked at her in her eyes and said." You found out about me." She looked at me in confusion and blinked at my nonchalant answer. " I'm not processing, what do you mean?" I chucked a bit at the fact that she tried to make herself seem like a computer and then said, " Well, You knew me before, maybe my name doesn't ring a bell because I had changed it when my parents moved out of Japan to here in the US.Or maybe-" I paused to eat a fork full of noodles and look back up at her . I swallowed the noodles and began again. "Maybe, My last name might ring a bell, or even a yearbook photo of me."She looked at my dark green eyes with her hazel ones and then just looked down. I could tell she was thinking and knowing her she wasnt going to share her thoughts until she put them together herself. We sat in silence again as I finished the last of my pasta. I looked up to see that Nova had finished before me and I smiled profusely," You havent changed a bit love." I said and she looked up at me inreturn with a confused look. She opened her mouth to most likely ask me what I meant but I beat her to it and said " Your still such a fast eater." She looked at me embarrased and turned her head away from me. " I-I'll do the dishes since you cooked the food, ok?" she said to me head still turned away. "If you say so. But im staying down here with you." I didn't want it to seem like I didn't trust her but I just wanted to make sure she didn't get hurt or anything. She nodded at me slowly and then walked over to me t get my plate and cup and take them to the kitchen sink. I sat down in the seat closer to the kitchen sink. I watched as Nova washed out the dishes in silence. I could tell she was thinking,but about what. If i ask she will most likely shake her head and proceed with 'nothing' or 'im fine'.Then she broke my train of thought. " Well i'm going to take a bath and please have the year book ready for me." She turned to me and looked into my eyes. I stared wide eyed at her. She then walked over to me and kissed my cheek." Thanks Babe." she said before walking off. My nose started bleeding and i nearly passed out. Oh god she is perfect.
