Where did you go

"Sebastian?" You looked around slowly hoping to catch him before he left the room but he wasn't there. "....what was that all about..."

~Is this another trick....what was he saying before he left.~ you leaned your head back and started to doze off wether you wanted to or not. Being drained, you ended up falling asleep as your body relaxed.

In the morning, you woke hearing someone opening your bedroom door and walking over to the windows. Their foot steps were moving quickly as if whoever was walking were in a hurry.

"G-good morning m'lady. I-I'm terribly sorry for being a little late on my schedule." You opened your eyes and slowly rubbed them as you turned over in your sleep.

"Five more minutes."

"No m'lady you mustn't" Mey -Rin walked around the bed and pulled on the covers for you to get up. "S-Sebastian told me to wake you on schedule. That was over an hour ago. Now you must get up and allow me to get you ready for the day."

You pulled on the covers but let her take them eventually.

"Fiiiine....where is Sebastian anyway." You sat up rubbing your face and slowly made your way to the edge of the bed.

"He didn't say. He just told me to watch over you"

"....and he didn't say why or how long he would be gone for?"

She shook her head. "You know Sebastian, He would look at us with a death stare whenever we asked him any more. Now come on and hurry out the bed." Mey-Rin grabed onto your hands and helped you out the bed and to the bathroom. She helped you bathe and do everything you needed to do in the morning time as usual.

She helped you with things in the office when you needed but she was busy with her daily chores leaving you to yourself most of the time. As you continued your work you kept thinking about last night and how you suddenly were in your bed instead of Sebastian's once you woke.

Last night constantly ran through your head as you wondered if it was even real anymore from how sudden he left and you woke in a different place from where you fell asleep. Your body was even cleaned and clothed once you'd woken up. But one thing stayed the same. A lingering feeling from the night before.

What Sebastian did to you opened a whole new lane of thoughts and wants for you. He'd left you with an itch that needed help so desperately that you couldn't take the wait.

You gave it a day or two hoping it would go away but it only eased until the thought sprung up again. You didn't know what you could do to get him off of your mind other than keeping yourself busy, so once your work was done you helped out around the house by doing some chores.

Two more days had passed and you'd started dusting around the manor and helping as much as they'd let you every time your work was complete. Today you started coughing and because of your lung condition you had to be careful. Once it started to get worse, Mey-Rin made you stop dusting and go outside to get some fresh air. But even the next day, your cough didn't go away.

May-Rin put you on bed rest and brought you tea but it wasn't good enough.

"It must be an allergic reaction to something."

"Well...do you know what type of medicine Sebastian uses for her." Mey-Rin looked at Tanaka in a bit of a panic as you laid in bed breathing heavily.

"No.......Sir Sebastian was pretty quiet about what medicine he'd use on the young mistress.... I'll try to get connected with Sir Sebastian again. Maybe he'll be back sooner than we think."

"I sure do hope so." May Rin closed the curtains for you as you requested and stayed close just outside your room day and night with some of the others helping from time to time.

It's been a week and a half since Sebastian left. Your condition had gotten much worse causing your throat to inflame making you barely able to speak and take a proper breath. Because of how back your condition had gotten, Mey-Rin and the others stayed by you in the night, watching over you.

Once the sun began to rise, you were woken up by loud and rushed footsteps just outside your door. You opened your eyes slowly as you heard whoever it was burst in.

"Mistress!" You turned to look at the door but in less than a second Sebastian was at your bedside checking on you. "How long was she like this."

Tanaka followed behind him to see Finnian asleep in the chair where he was supposed to be watching over you. Sebastian's eyes darted over at Finnian basically waking him out of his sleep.

"Asleep on watch."

"N-n-no Sebastian....I was just-"

"OUT. ALL OF YOU!" At this point everyone was inside your room. They all left in the blink of an eye as soon as he raised his voice. You looked up at Sebastian seeing his face all scrunched up from frustration.

You reached up and grabbed onto his suit making him look down at you. He pulled you to him holding you close to both comfort you and also feel your breathing.

"I am so sorry mistress. I shouldn't have left you so suddenly." You held onto his clothes tearing up both out of joy and satisfaction. As you let tears fall and rub on his suit, you tired yourself from being so weak and exhausted. "Don't you worry, rest." Slowly, you fell asleep as he began to check on you.

"Clearly those children can't follow simple instructions. I specifically told them to make you tea from a specific box, how could they forget something so simple." You slowly started to wake up from hearing Sebastian talking under his breath, not far from you. The light only came from candle light as you lightly peeked around as you collected yourself and where you were.

You looked around and saw familiar candles lit around the bed, thick curtains, and sheets making you realize you were back in Sebastian's room.

"Oh....awake already?....well that's no good. Go back to sleep my mistress. There's nothing to worry about" You turned your head and saw Sebastian sitting beside the bed in one of the chairs from the front of his room. He sat with his suit jacket off and his sleeves rolled up. The dim candle light just made it difficult to make everything out with your drossy eyes.

"Se-bastian? What's-....what's going on."

"I'm glad to see you doing better but you need more rest." You looked at his arm slowly sitting your head up and saw something sticking in his arm, like a needle. Before you could get a good look at it, he grabbed onto your hand and the side of your face before you could look at it. "Sleep a little longer."

You looked up at him and made eye contact just before you slowly drifted off again.
