The girl- looking around 14 maybe- slept peacefully under a tree, oblivious to the deceiving world around her.
In her head, she dreamt of a world where nothing was evil, where she could simply sit inside and not have to worry if the world went into chaos. Of course, she didn't do that. She went on adventures, usually accompanied by two other people, though she couldn't make out who or what they were. Even so, she cherished the dream.
Until something in the outside world hit her in the head with a rock, stirring her dream up and making it fade a bit. She groaned quietly, shifting in her spot in an attempt to go back to sleep, back to the dream she was viewing. "oh it's alive- WAIT OH MAH CHROMA EWWW ITS ALIVE????" Someone said, though the girl didn't know who. When another rock was chucked at her, she groaned and curled up on herself. Finally, she turned her head and slightly opened her eyes to see just what was disturbing her sleep.
A bird, just a parrot, she thought tiredly. "oh heyy- do you have brain damage now..?" They said. The girl stared at the parrot; a talking bird, she mentally added on, before shutting her eyes again and wincing when the parrot threw another rock at her.
"okay- now you probably do-"
"sstoooOOpp..."
She groaned at the bird angrily, making it flinch and fly away. Sighing, she made herself comfortable against the tree, and tried to go back into the comforting abyss that is sleep. To atleast, remember what she was dreaming, it was fuzzy now. Stay calm, breathe equally, she thought sleepily. Just when it was working, something else fell on her head, something larger- and harder. She quietly yelped, covering her head in pain as the object rolled a bit away from her. This seems to happen a lot, she thought agitatedly, moving in her spot.
She moved her arm to try and get in a different position, one that's less likely to have her head constantly damaged. But, in her sudden movement, her hand hit an object, most likely the same one that fell from above earlier. It was a somewhat cold temperature.
Her eyes snapped open from surprise, and she yanked her arm back and stared at the object, which made what seemed to be a surprised squeak. Wait, a squeak? She blinked and woke up, for real this time. The thing- it was some sort of test tube, and there was a.. blob-slime thing inside it, it- they? They were a light blue color, and had their eyes shut tightly. In fear, most likely. But there were also tears in the eyes...
The blob was crying, the girl came to realize, listening to its soft sobs.
This was a big red flag, she concluded, her mouth quivering as she slowly reached for the test tube.
[Hun]
Okay, it's okay, they're just a blob in a tube. They can't hurt you.
Plus, they're sad and crying. That's bad, so I need to comfort them! Just- pick the tube up...
I picked up the test tube, and the blob thing flinched and seemed to curl up- or press down against itself. If that made sense, atleast. Wait.. how do I talk again? I just did it... Vocal cords. Voice things, easy-peasy. Don't question it, just.. comfort the dang blob! Atleast greet them...
