Part 3

As the days started to pass and Wakasa's birthday was approaching, Keizo started to feel even more uneasy which wasn't a good thing when she knew what it was about and if Makoto decided to do it on Wakasa's birthday she would be unable to save him.
 
"Should we do something special today?" Wakasa asks not wanting to let go of Keizo even if he should get up to get ready to work
 
"Do you want to?" Keizo asks knowing he is asking because his birthday is the following day
 
"...I do" he says hiding his face on Keizo's neck
 
"Hmmm, if you are able to finish all the paperwork before lunch we could enjoy the whole evening together in the city. There are still places you haven't shown to me" Keizo says after thinking for a bit
 
"I like that idea" Wakasa mumbles "Will you stay the morning with me too?" he ask and Keizo smiles softly at that
 
"I would love that but I did promise Shinichiro to help him make the second courting gift for Omi" she says and giggles when Wakasa pouts "Come on, stella mea. You have me by your side most of the time so you can let me spend a bit with our friends, can't you?" she says amused and Wakasa sighs
 
"Very well but this evening you are all mine" Wakasa says, still pouting, as he gets up
 
"Of course" Keizo says also getting up 'And I will always be yours even if you don't know It' she thinks as they both start to get ready for their day
 
Sometimes Keizo gets surprised by how much she loves Wakasa when at the beginning she didn't like him because of how he treated her but right now she can't see a future without him and that scares her more than anything knowing that she may lose him.
 
Just like she had said, Keizo during the morning helped Shinichiro and then went to meet Wakasa to have lunch together before they went to the city to celebrate Wakasa's birthday just the two of them since the next day they would be unable to.
 
"Would you like to visit the laboratories today?" Wakasa asks after they visited a few shops he liked "I think today we might be able to watch the birth of some homunculus" he adds
 
"Homunculus?" Keizo asks confused
 
"Yes, like Shin" Wakasa says but Keizo still looks confused "Kids are born from laboratories since it is safer and it permits any type of couple to have kids" he explains and Keizo hums in understanding
 
"In Ragnarok couples of the same sex can have a kid naturally as long as they have intercourse in days were it is a new moon and others" Keizo says and Wakasa looks interested in that
 
"Really? Can you explain it more?" he asks curiously
 
"Sure!" Keizo says "Let's say Izana and Seishu want to have a kid, they would have to see when it is the right day to try to have it and pray that morning to our goddess and at night have sex" she starts explaining "The pregnancy goes as a normal one that any woman has but in the day if the birth the belly will glow with the Sun & Moon symbol and baby will come out of it so no pain for the one giving birth" she ends her explanation
 
"That's interesting even if it seems to be quite annoying to have to wait to meet certain specifications to have babies" Wakasa comments and Keizo laughs
 
"It can be but I think once you have your baby in your arms, it makes it worth it" she says not realizing she put her hand on her belly
 
"...Do you wish to have a kid naturally?" Wakasa asks blushing while looking to the side because while they did talk a bit about this that one time he asked about Takeomi, they never talked about it again
 
"Hmm, I do" Keizo says with a small smile "It may be stupid seeing that I had my life basically written in front of me but I have always wanted to be a mother" she adds
 
"...Maybe soon we can think about having a kid" Wakasa says as red as a tomato
 
"Thanks, stella mea" Keizo says kissing Wakasa's cheek
 
With that they go visit the laboratories and enjoy some other places in the city with Keizo trying to ignore the bad feeling for now since she wanted to enjoy what could possibly be her last time with Wakasa.
 
"I hope you have fun tomorrow, stella mea" Keizo whispers when she realizes Wakasa has fallen asleep "I love you" she kisses his forehead before going to sleep too while hoping nothing bad would happen the next day while she was sleeping

Something wasn't feeling right.
 
She was having one of the most uncomfortable sleeps she ever had.
 
It was like she felt like she was needed awake but that was impossible.
 
She was unable to be awake during eclipses no matter how hard she tried.
 
But then why did she feel like this…
 
WAKE UP!!!
 
Keizo suddenly woke up feeling like her heart was about to leave her chest.
 
"W-what?" she murmured confused but feelings like something terrible was about to happen
 
She took a deep breath and looked around to see that Wakasa wasn't beside her and that by how it looked outside it should be the middle of the day. Keizo walked to the digital clock and saw that she was right but what surprised her was that it was still April 8th
 
"That's impossible…" she says in disbelief since if it was still the eclipse day, how could she be awake now
 
Keizo decides to quickly change clothes and go look for Takeomi, Shinichiro or Wakasa to know if eclipses worked differently here or something like that.
 
But when she opened the door of her room she was shocked by what she found.
 
"What the hell happened?" she whispers as she sees some maids and butlers laying on ground like they were sleeping
 
She approached one of them to see if they were still breathing and luckily they were, after that she hurried her way to Wakasa's office.
 
"Wakasa!" she says as she enters the office to find her husband holding his head but not sleeping like the others
 
"K-keizo?" Wakasa said with difficulty while trying to look at her
 
"Are you okay?!" Keizo asks and goes to him
 
"I-I don't know" he says "I have the worst headache ever and I feel weak" he adds and Keizo knows that Imaushi Makoto is doing it now
 
"Fuck!" Keizo curses but tries to use her healing powers to alleviate Wakasa's pain
 
"Kei? What's going on?" he says once he feels a bit better
 
Keizo bites her lip unsure how to tell Wakasa that she knew that something like this might happen but never said anything.
 
"Keizo? Whatever it is, I won't be mad at you" Wakasa says softly while grabbing one of Keizo's hands and kissing it
 
"...I know what your father wanted to do, and is doing right now" Keizo says unable to look at Wakasa's face
 
"Which is?" Wakasa asks with no judgment on his voice
 
"....Trying to bring someone, probably your mother, back to life" Keizo says in a whisper that if it wasn't because of how silent it was, Wakasa might have not been able to hear it
 
"...W-what?!" Wakasa asks in disbelief because he couldn't imagine his dad doing that but deep down he knew there was a possibility for that since Makoto hadn't been the same since Imaushi Silas' death
 
"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner but….I knew it was impossible to stop this" Keizo says softly and Wakasa takes a deep breath and kisses Keizo's hand again
 
"It's okay but now we should go to the sanctuary" Wakasa says slowly getting up with Keizo's help "There is probably the best place to do the ritual or whatever it is that he is doing" he adds
 
Keizo wants to stop him remembering what her goddess showed her but…she couldn't, Wakasa wanted to try and stop his father and Keizo couldn't deny him that so she would do her best for the tree not to take Wakasa from her.
 
"How will we get there?" Keizo asks since the first and last time that she was there, it was for the ceremony and it was the roots who took them down there
 
"Library, there is a secret passage that will lead down there" Wakasa explains and Keizo nods since that made sense
 
With that the two made their way to the library as fast as they could but being careful since Wakasa was still feeling weak and there were sleeping bodies in the middle of the way to the library.
 
Once in the library, Wakasa told Keizo where they should go to find the secret passage and soon they found themselves in the sanctuary.
 
"Father!" Wakasa called when he saw Makoto near the tree
 
"Wakasa…Keizo…" the man says when he turns around and sees both of them
 
"What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Wakasa says
 
"I'm doing this for us, son" Makoto says turning his back to them once more
 
"No, you are not!" Wakasa shouts mad "Everyone knows that to bring anything back you need to lose something or someone that signifies the same thing!" he says "Do you really think mother will be happy once she realizes you sacrificed her own son to bring her back?!"
 
"Lies! I will have my wife back and we three will be a happy family once more" Makoto says not turning back to see how hurt his own son was
 
As Wakasa tried to make his father realize what he was doing, with Makoto continuing with the ritual, neither of them noticed how some of the roots of the tree were making their way towards Wakasa until Keizo shouted it.
 
"WAKASA!" Keizo shouts as she sees a root going to grab Wakasa at the same time as a light appears in front of Makoto
 
Keizo's shout wasn't on time and Wakasa was being dragged by the tree.
 
"What the-" Makoto says turning to them to see this "No! It is impossible! It shouldn't be my son who is dragged! It should be the girl!" Makoto says angry and Keizo has to stop herself from going to Makoto an punching him so she takes a deep breath and runs towards the tree to try and save Wakasa
 
She was able to grab Wakasa but it was difficult to hold him seeing that the tree was very strong. But she was Arashi Keizo and she wouldn't give up, she needed to save the one she loved no matter what.
 
"K-keizo!" Wakasa calls surprised that she grabbed him and was trying save him
 
"Shh, stella mea, I will help you" Keizo said trying to smile at him but she was using a lot of her strength and it was difficult to smile like that
 
"What do you think you are doing?!" she heard Makoto shout "It is impossible to win against the tree even if you were blessed by a goddess!" He says and Keizo growls mad at at Makoto because it is his fault that they are in this situation
 
"I don't fucking care!" Keizo says "It is your fucking fault this is happening! You should be the one trying to save your son, not me! If you cared more about your wife then you should have joined her like many people do instead of trying to destroy Wakasa's life!" she growls and maybe she was being too mean but if she had been in Makoto's place, she would never try to bring Wakasa back when she would be losing their kids who she would love as much as she loves Wakasa
 
"L-let go, Kei" Wakasa says with a bit of difficulty "My father is right, it is impossible to save me when the tree is reclaiming my life" he says with a sad and hurt look and Keizo just can't
 
"No! I won't do that!" Keizo glares at Wakasa "Even if I have to give my life to save you or go down with you, I will" she closes her eyes for a bit to concentrate her healing powers on her muscles before grabbing Wakasa better so try and push him to her "I love you, stella mea, and I will not let go so should the gods wish to take you, they will have to take me too because the sun and moon can't live without their start there for them" she says looking in Wakasa's eyes to make sure he understands that nothing will make her give up on him
 
Tension surrounded them as Keizo tried her best to hold onto Wakasa.
 
And then….everything happened so fast for them.
 
A light suddenly surrounded both Wakasa and Keizo.
 
They….they for some reason felt in peace, like everything would be okay.
 
But then they heard something
 
"I'm sorry"
 
Keizo suddenly felt like something was taken from her.
 
But she was unable to think about it as she and Wakasa passed out
 
Makoto had observed all this in shock, both by the words his daughter-in-law had said and what he just watched, not taking his eye off where his son and daughter-in-law were laying passed out.
 
"Hmm? Makoto?" a soft voice said from Makoto's back and immediately turned to it
 
In front of him was his beautiful wife. Taller than him, straight silky silver hair, eyes as purple as amethyst and pale skin. She was as gorgeous as the last day he saw her and the first time he met her.
 
"Silas, my dear…." he says both feeling surprised his wife was back but also guilt for what he did
 
"What is happening?" she asks once she took a look around her "How am I alive if I remember dying? Why is our son passed out together with a woman….that if I am not wrong must be from the royal family of Ragnarok? What did you do, Makoto?" she questions and Makoto just blurts everything unable to lie to Silas

Keizo felt burned out as she woke up.
 
The last time she felt like this was when she abused her blessing to save some of Ragnarok's people.
 
And for some reason she felt somehow empty which didn't make any sense.
 
And the shouts she could hear didn't help her feeling better but they did ground her and helped her remember what had just happened.
 
"HOW COULD YOU, MAKOTO?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS KNOWING THAT YOU WOULD KILL OUR SON?!" Keizo heard a female voice she had never heard before but seeing what she was saying, Keizo had a good guess about who it was
 
"I didn't-" Makoto tried to say but his wife didn't let him
 
"YOUR RIGHT! YOU DIDN'T FUCKING THINK! IF IT WASN'T BECAUSE OF ARASHI I WOULD HAVE LOST MY SON!" Silas shouts enraged that her husband didn't think completely on the consequences of his actions and her son, and her daughter-in-law, was the one to pay for that
 
"...Mother?" Wakasa says in surprise when he finally wakes and sees Silas
 
"My son!" Silas says running to Wakasa and hugging him "Are you okay?" she asks looking him up and down
 
"Y-yeah…I think so" he says, still not having assimilated everything "Kei?" he calls for Keizo
 
"I'm here, stella mea" Keizo says but doesn't move because her muscles hurt like hell and she couldn't use her healing on herself again so soon especially because she is feeling kinda tired
 
"You okay?" he asks softly, letting go of his mother and grabbing Keizo's hand making her wince
 
"I am, my muscles just hurt from how much force I used and soon I may crash down for being awake during the eclipse" she says when she notices his worried look at her wincing just from him grabbing her hand
 
"I apologise for what my stupid husband did" Sila said looking sadly to Keizo but she just shook her head
 
"It's not your fault" Keizo says and Silas offers her a small smile before Keizo turns to Wakasa "We should go see if everyone has awaken" she says
 
"We should" Wakasa says with a sigh before getting up and helping Keizo do the same "Do you want me to pick you up? It will be less painful" he says as Keizo winced with every movement she makes
 
"No, it's okay. It will be better if I move instead of being quiet" she says and Wakasa nods at that even if he doesn like that she has to be in pain
 
"I will be taking Makoto to our room and continue to tell him how much of an idiot he was…and maybe get him to decide to go to exile on his own instead of letting the court judge him" Silas said kissing Wakasa cheek before going to Makoto and drag him to passageway that would take them to the library
 
Before Wakasa and Keizo could make their way to the passageway like them, they found themselves involved in a flower and taken up to the castle.
 
'Why does the tree feel so guilty?' Wakasa thinks confused but doesn't get to think more about it because soon him and Keizo are in throne room where the nobles also are which he knew they hadn't been there before
 
When Wakasa was about to ask what was going on, he saw Yumiko walk towards them before she bowed.
 
"Our highnesses" she says and that surprises Keizo but Wakasa feels proud that they finally noticed how amazing his wife is
 
"W-what?" Keizo mumbles confused as every noble does the same as Yumiko
 
"They accept you as their queen" Wkaasa whispers to her and Keizo is in shock by that but also happy they they finally accepted her
 
"We will make a ball to celebrate his majesty's birthday tomorrow and to show the other kingdoms that we accept Queen Keizo" one of the councilman says and Keizo winces
 
"Can you do it in two days?" Wakasa asks because it was time for him to tell Keizo the origin of Kodou Rengo and also because he knew that Keizo wasn't okay
 
"May I ask why?" Sakurako, one of Shinichiro's mothers, asks kindly
 
"After everything that happened today, we need some time away from all that" was the only explanation Wakasa gave and no one dared to question him on that so they accepted to prepare the ball for later
 
Soon the two of them find themselves laying comfortably on Keizo's bed with Wakasa giving her a massage to help her with the muscle pain.
 
"Thanks, stella mea" Keizo hums softly
 
"No need to thank me" Wakasa says "....What you said when trying to save me, was it true?" he asks after a few minutes of silence
 
"Hmm?" Keizo hums turning to him
 
"When…when you said that you loved me" Wakasa says not looking at Keizo but she could see that his ears were red meaning that he was blushing
 
"I would never lie about something like that" Keizo says slowly grabbing Wakasa's face so he would be looking at her "I love you, stella mea, and I'm thankful that we ended up getting married" she says kissing his nose softly
 
"....I love you too, 'Iilha" Wakasa said and kissed Keizo who melted into the kiss "Thanks for not giving up on me" he whispers as he ends the kiss
 
"Don't thank me for that, stella mea" Keizo says shaking her head slowly "You can ask anyone from Ragnarok and they will tell you that I would never give up on those I love so don't thank me for doing it when I would do it as many times as it is needed" she says kissing his lips softly
 
"You are too good for me" Wakasa says still not understanding how Keizo could say that so easily just like she once said that she told her goddess that should she use her blessing for evil for said goddess to take it from her and to kill her
 
"I'm not, while I may have told your father that he was being selfish with what he did I have to admit I was also being selfish on trying to save you not caring about the consequences" Keizo says laying her head in Wakasa's chest
 
"Maybe but it was a good selfish" Wakasa whispers kissing Keizo's head
 
"Hmm, not sure if there is a good selfish" Keizo comments before yawning
 
"Who knows" Wakasa says "How long do you think you will sleep?" he asks because it is easy to notice how tired Keizo is
 
"A whole day" Keizo whispers kissing Wakasa's neck
 
"Then go to sleep" Wakasa says bringing her closer to him "I will be here when you wake up, 'Iilha" he kisses her one last time
 
"Goodnight, stella mea" Keizo says with a soft smile before letting herself fall asleep knowing that this time she didn't need to fear about losing Wakasa

Keizo was back in the place again and that made her fear that something bad was going to happen again seeing what happened last time she was here.
 
"Don't be afraid my blessed" the Sun & Moon goddess said coming to embrace Keizo which made her relax
 
"Why am I here?" Keizo asks softly and the goddess smiles sadly at her
 
"Come, there is someone who wishes to speak to you" was the only thing the goddess said
 
Keizo let herself be guided and observed the white surrounding them turn into a green forest but even if she was curious, she didn't ask where they were going.
 
"Shajala" the goddess calls and a mini tornado of flowers appears in front of them before disappearing while leaving a man with green hair, purple eyes and pale skin in its place
 
"Thanks for bringing her here" the man, who Keizo assumes is Shajala, says to the goddess who just smiles and pats the man's head before disappearing "Let's seat before we talk" he says to Keizo who just nods
 
Soon the two are sitting on one of the trees and Keizo waits for Shajala to tell her why he wanted to talk to her.
 
"I wanted to apologise again for what I did" Shajala said not looking at her but Keizo looked confused at him "I tried to not take anything but I was unable to do it and….the only thing that would be equivalent to two lives was…" he tried to explain but had a hard time to do it "I'm sorry for taking your dream from you" he says at the end and Keizo freezes finally understanding what he meant and why she felt empty
 
"I…I…" Keizo didn't know how to say as tears started falling down her face and her hands went to her belly
 
"I didn't want to but I had no other choice, I apologize for what I did" Shajala repeated looking sadly to Keizo
 
"...N-no, don't apologize" Keizo said trying to stop the tears "Y-you tried to stop this a-and I was the one who said I w-would do anything to protect Wakasa" she added "I-I should thank you f-for not taking Wakasa f-from me" she takes a deep breath and smiles at Shajala "I-I will pray you too from now on, maybe next time someone tries to do something stupid you will be stronger with the hope of everyone at your side so you don't need to hurt someone against your will"
 
"...You are very strong, Arashi Keizo, and I can see why she choose you as her blessed and the one to unite Ragnarok and Kodou Rengou once more" Shajala said cleaning the tears from Keizo's face "I'm not god so do not pray to me but thank you for wanting to help me with that might come" he smiles soflty "I will give you and Wakasa the heir like I did to all previous generations but as a thank you for adoring one of my kids so much, I will try to find a way to help you" he says and kisses Keizo's head, and like last time, as everything starts disappearing
 
Keizo woke up, with tears falling down her face and her hands in her belly.
 
She still couldn't totally believe what she had lost but….she thought Wakasa was worth losing her ability to have kids, they may not be able to have kids naturally but they still can have them.
 
It will take sometime to get over what she lost but Keizo knows she will never feel bad for choosing to save Wakasa because being truthful she would have chosen to never have kids if she had lost him.
 
"'Iilha?" she hears from the bathroom door to see Wakasa leaving it "Why are you crying? Did you have a nightmare?" he asks worried and Keizo shakes her head negatively
 
"I…I found out what the tree took for your and your mother's lives" Keizo said trying to stop her tears once more
 
"What did Shajala take, 'Iilha?" Wakasa asks coming to hug her
 
"D-do you remember my dream?" Keizo asks and Wakasa nods his head but doesn't understand yet what that has to do with what she said "I…I will never be able to give birth to our kids" she says pushing Wakasa closer as she cried even more
 
Wakasa was having a hard time digesting what he heard, he never wanted Keizo to lose anything but she did…all to save him, who she loved despite him having been an idiot in the beginning, and he found himself undeserving of this.
 
"Do…Do you regret saving me?" Wakasa found hismelf asking without realizing
 
Keizo looked shocked at Wakasa, like she couldn't believe Wakasa would dare to ask that. She grabbed his face and made him look at her, still crying, eyes.
 
"Never" she says "I may not be able to give birth to our kids but we can still have them" she repeats what she told herself a bit sooner "And you are worthy this and much more, stella mea" she says and kisses his nose
 
"I…sorry for asking that" Wakasa says before he kisses Keizo's forehead "This is why I said you are too good for me, 'Iilha" he shakes his head still not understanding how Keizo is able to say these things despite what she just found out "I should be the one comforting you for what you found out, not the other way" he says in disbelief
 
"Sorry? I'm used to being the one to comfort others even when I am in pain" Keizo says because it was the truth, no matter how much pain she was in Keizo always put her family and friends first
 
"Then let me comfort you, 'Iilha" Wakasa says bringing Keizo to his lap "You deserve it more than anyone" he says and kisses her softly
 
Wakasa informs Shinichiro that he won't be present in any meeting that day, and spends it all with Keizo to comfort her about what she lost but also to think of a way to still make her dream come true outside of the use of the homunculus.

The ball happened the following day even if Wakasa tried to tell Keizo that their people could wait one or two more days until she had grieved a bit more but Keizo said that the ball would help her feel better since she would be able to see her family so Wakasa let it happen, he was starting to understand that he would never be able to say no to Keizo.
 
"Ready to go, 'Iilha?" Wakasa asks looking at Keizo and offering his hand to her
 
"I am, stella mea" Keizo says accepting the hand
 
With that Wakasa nods at the guards in front of the doors of the ballroom, who at the nod open it and announce them.
 
"King Imaushi Shajala Wakasa and Queen Arashi Solluna Keizo are entering!" the guard announces and they enter the ballroom getting everyone to look at them since in thr last ball they had entered separated but now they showed together and holding hands
 
Once there, Wakasa gives a small speech before they go talk to all the guests as good hosts.
 
"This is quite interesting" the king of Moebius says as the to approach them and Keizo has to count to ten to not hit this idiot who encouraged his youngest son on his pursuit of Takeomi
 
"May I ask what is so interesting?" Keizo says keeping a polite voice even if she disliked the man
 
"How you two suddenly became so united when in the last ball you almost didn't talk to each other" the king says and both Wakasa and Keizo noticed that everyone seems interested on their talk
 
"At the time we were still getting to know each other" Wakasa says
 
"Really? I thought you disliked each other" the king says trying to create troubles
 
"Yes, none of us expected to get married and it was a bit hard getting used to the sudden change" Keizo says smiling politely "And how is your youngest son? I heard he lost in less than a minute to Akashi Haruchiyo, who still hasn't going gone through his knight training like your son did" she adds looking quite innocently curious but those who knew her knew that inside she was smirking
 
The king of Mobius got red in embarrassment and rage while everyone started talking about his son's sad defeat.
 
"Please enjoy the ball" Wakasa says before the two leave to talk to another person "Really, 'Iilha?" he asks amused
 
"What? I learnt from my mother that the best way to take someone one down is by acting polite while bringing up something that will embarrass them" Keizo says amused because her mother was the one who taught her almost everything
 
"She must be amazing seeing how wonderful you are" Wakasa says smiling at her and Keizo laughs before kissing his cheek
 
After talking to some more people the two finally make their way to talk to Keizo's family.
 
"Mom!" Keizo says once she see Arashi Yoruichi
 
"Hello darling" Yoruichi says going to hug her daughter
 
"I feel ignored" Kaeya says pouting
 
"You have visited me before but mom didn't" Keizo says rolling her eyes at her twin
 
"Don't fight kids" Yoruichi says looking at her oldest kids who just nod in agreement "Won't you say hello to your father?" she adds looking at Keizo
 
"...Hello, father" Keizo says but she isn't happy to see him, she is sure he knew what Makoto was planning but never said anything
 
"How have you been?" Senjuro asks deciding to ignore how his daughter didn't look happy to see him
 
"I have been good" is Keizo's answer because while these last days weren't the best, she was good
 
"Do you know were Take-nee is? Senju wanted me to give her something but I haven't seen her yet" Ryusei says intervening in the conversation since Keizo doesn't look like she wants to talk to their father
 
"Hmm, I think she might be a bit occupied" Keizo says smirking "Shinichiro told me he was going to give her the second courting gift to her today" she adds
 
"Are you telling the truth?" Kaeya says surprised "Takeomi has rejected everyone who tried to court her before" he adds
 
"She has but Shinichiro is different from all those people" Keizo hums because she knows Shinichiro will take great care of her best friend
 
"Then I'm happy for her" Kaeya says trusting his sister
 
"Well, maybe you can ask a maid or butler to leave the gift in Takeomi's room" Izana says to his little brother
 
"Can I?" Ryusei asks looking at Keizo and Wakasa
 
"Sure" Wakasa says and calls a nearby maid "Please leave this gift in Akashi Takeomi's room" he says to the maid while pointing to the small box in Ryusei's hands

A long time ago, there was a very peculiar young couple in the kingdom of Ragnarok.

One night of a very strong storm, they needed a shelter and found a huge cavern where they could spend the days in until the storm was over.

It was in a safe place and the structure did not seem to be in danger of collapsing. So they decided to settle there and start building buildings and so on. And like the leaders of everything, the couple who watched with happiness as everyone lived in peace.
 
So over time, their small community grew more and more with people who came wanting to stay there and were obviously welcomed with open arms.
 
Everything was going too well...
 
The next thing Kondo Rengo knew, two citizens they trusted turned out to be spies...
 
One day of eclipse they were attacked by Ragnarok troops...

From the blood and tears of the founders, Shajala was born, the enormous protective tree that would be with the people of Kondo Rengo and their descendants. Who built a tomb there in the cave and caused it to go into the earth and on the ground they rebuilt their kingdom.
 
But despite everything, mistrust never went away...
 
Because of that war, women and several men lost the ability to have children thanks to the spells of the wizards of Ragnarok.
 
Because the plants were the only ones who heard her request for help.
 
Because they could no longer trust the gods and even less their followers.
