"Eddie hasn't talked to me in a week Robin!" Steve exclaimed stacking tapes on the counter.

"Well maybe he's just having another depressive episode...Steve you know how he his" Robin said lightly. "Well I feel like if that's the case he should talk to me about it.." Steve sighed "well go talk to him I'll close up" Robin said.

Steve smiled slightly and headed toward the exit and got into his car. He drove off to Eddie's house hoping he'd be there and lo-and behold he wasn't..So Steve went to his house still no sign of Eddie then he thought about Lovers lake.

Eddie often went there when he was upset, So he drove off again. Steve finally got there and stepped out of the car and walked down a small trail to the dock to see Eddie sitting there throwing rocks in the water.

"Ed's?" Steve spoke sitting down beside him. "Hmm.." he sighed wiping his face and pulling the sleeves of his Metallica hoodie down quickly. "Why are you wearing a sweater? It's like 24° out!" Steve laughed dryly pulling Eddie onto his lap.

"Where've you been?" Steve asked softly "Here.." Eddie said blankly. "Like sleeping at ricks?" Steve asked "Yeah..He got out of prison so..I asked if I could crash here" Eddie said shakily "Whats the matter?" Steve sighed as Eddie drooped his head over Steve's shoulder.

"Nothing.." Eddie whispered wiping his eyes. "Okay..But can you please come home?" Steve asked. "Mm" Eddie mumbled hugging Steve tightly Steve put him in the car and drove home (Steve's house).

It had been a couple hours and they watched a movie and Steve had to basically force Eddie to eat dinner, then they crawled into bed and Eddie didn't change into pjs just slept in the sweater and shorts. After hours of Steve rolling and waking up constantly

it clicked..

Steve sat up and turned on the lamp. "Ed's.." he rubbed Eddie's back and slightly pushed him. "what..I'm not sleeping Stevie"
Eddie murmured rolling to face Steve "sit up please.." Steve asked.

Once he sat up Steve cupped his face in his hands and kissed him on the forehead. "I need to go to the bathroom.." Eddie said getting up and walking into the bathroom and pulled his sleeve up to reveal the marks and scabs along his writs.

He leads a thumb along the cuts and whined pulling his sleeve down and walking out to the hall to see Steve standing there.

"Your not better are you" Steve snapped "what.." Eddie stuttered furrowing his eyebrows.
"I should've kept you in that hospital" Steve snarled grabbing Eddie's face. "Steve!" Eddie winced clawing at his hand. "STOP IT!" Eddie cried falling down, grunting in pain as he hit the ground.

He looked up to see an all red sky and a door with a red rose.

Steve got up wondering why it was taking Eddie so long and seen him in the hall. "Eddie?" Steve said shakily waving his hand in his face. "Ed's?" He yelled in his face "Wake up!" He yelled.
He thought vecna was gone! "EDDIE!" he screamed. Steve ran to get his Walkman and a black sabbath song.

"Edward.." Vecna grumbled walking towards him "No!" He cried "STEVE!?" Eddie Screamed running but got tripped be some sort of vine. "FUCK..NO!" He yelled getting slammed against a wall "STEVE!!" He hollered "He can't help you Edward..It's too late" The monster said in a gravely disturbing voice.

The monster raised his claw like hand toward Eddie's face. "It won't hurt..it's time to join me" He growled "no no no no.." Eddie cried hearing 'children of the grave' playing slightly in the background. Vecna's claw sunk into Eddie's face.

"EDDIE!" Steve screamed bloody murder as blood rushed down Eddie's face and his bones snapped, Then the eyes..

"EDS! NO NO NO NO!" Steve cried still screaming holding Eddie's lifeless body.

Steve heard his doorbell ring and robin ran up the stairs to a living nightmare, She saw Steve screaming,Tears streaming down his face and staining his shirt holding Eddie's body.

"Steve-" She gasped "STEVE!" She ran over pulling him off Eddie and down the stairs and called Nancy not knowing what to do.

Robin managed to drag Steve into the driveway "EDDIE!" He sobbed trying to get back into the house. He sobbed into robins shoulder, "He's gone Steve.." she sighed slightly crying.
