The Missing Daughter

Prologue

August 17 ,2000

A woman laid in a hospital bed with unbearable pain as she was about to give birth for the eighth time.

She already had seven sons and it was to no one's surprise that she was pregnant again her husband Paulo the Don of the Italian mafia was in the room with her.

He was excited about having another kid even though they already have seven sons.

How are you feeling my love the Don says with an Italian accent? I'm in pain you moron can't you see that I'm about to give birth to another one of your little demons she replies with venom.

Anastasia never loved Paulo he had kidnapped her when he saw her at the annual mafia ball a few years ago.

It's already bad that I have to see those demons who resemble you so much at home and now I have to give birth to another one she yells.

Paulo knew she never loved him and their sons when he kidnapped her a long time ago.

She was in love with another man who had no connections to the mafia but wrath took over Paulo that night.

And he killed the man Anastasia was supposed to marry.

He thought that with the time she would get comfortable around him and love him.

But he was wrong throughout the years she never once showed him love but instead despised him and hated him for kidnapping her but also because he killed the man she wanted.

Anastasia I know you don't mean that it's probably just the pain that you're in right now but once our baby is out you'll be filled with love and joy Paulo says.

No I mean it like all those other times I have birthed all your sons and you always tell me that I'll love them.

But no Paulo I will never love those monsters that I birthed they resemble you so much that I don't want to even think about them.

Paulo looked down at the floor with sadness as he always did whenever his wife was ready to go into labor.

As the doctor and nurses all came in ten minutes later they instructed Anastasia to prepare herself for her eighth and final child to come out.

At around 1:45 in the afternoon Anastasia had given birth to a little baby girl.

The parents overjoyed with emotions that they have a daughter started to cry.

Paulo made the decision to bring in all his sons to meet their new little sister.

All walked inside the room where there mother was holding a little baby in her arms.

As they approached her the mother made a disgusting face and turned away not looking at her sons.

Here is your sister and don't do anything to her she's says as she gives her to her oldest son Alessandro to hold.

As the brothers all huddled around their older brother they were in awe as the little baby was starring back at all of them.

Have you named her yet mother Judas asked? No that's why you're all in here your father wanted all of you to name her she replies back.

As they all look at each other the three oldest boys have thought of a perfect name for their new sorella.

We have decided that she will be named Laura Anastasia Alfredo the second oldest Alfredo son Hades says.

Perfect choice son Paulo says as he enters the room the mafia princess has a beautiful name.

And she will be protected by not just the mafia but also by us Alfredo men Paulo says.

But what they least expected was for the mafia princess to be taken away from them right under their nose.
