"You never told me why you moved here."
"What?" I ask, shoveling a spoonful of mac and cheese into my mouth.
"Why'd you move here?" He asks again. "You came to a whole other country. You got a random job. You've never gone on vacation. So why'd you move here?"
A bittersweet smile melts onto my face. "I didn't really have a choice, Tony."
"Why?"
"A... highly respected individual... recommended that I should lie low. Get away for a while... be safe."
"Safe... from what exactly?" He asks, his posture stiffening.
"The aftermath of a war," I whisper. "A war that took everything from me."
He leans forward, his mind spiraling. "A... war. You were a part of a war?"
I smirk. "More than I can say."

"Lovely day!" Remus groans. "Merlin! 'It's just guard duty', they said! 'Nothing will happen', they said!"

I throw a hex towards the deatheaters, knocking one off their feet.

I chuckle, leaning back against the wall. "Of course I did. I couldn't just sit back and let it happen."
"But you could've."
"Oh please," I laugh. "I couldn't just let the boys go out there on their own! The world would've burned. And not at the hands of evil."
He chuckles, messing with his chopsticks. "The boys, huh? Never took you as sexist."
