"mr. lopez and ms. perez are still the highest in our section." our professor said

i looked at him but he's already looking at me.

fuck.

he was about to say something but the bell rings

"okay class, you can take your break." our professor said and left

i saw him coming towards me

"so, still competing with me?" he asked

"excuse me? why would i compete with you? i'm more smarter than you" i answered

"our prof literally just said we're still both the highest" he said

"ewankosayo" i said, i was about to leave but he grabbed my arms

"we're not done yet, ms. perez" he said while looking to my eyes

"di pa talaga! tatalunin kita no" i said and left him inside the classroom

Hendricx's pov.

"i have a good news for you, son!" dad said

"what is it?" i asked

"you're moving, i mean we're moving!" he answered

"w-where?" i ask

"in manila!!" he answered happily

"what about my studies?" i asked again

"manila has many good schools and universities. you'll be studying there" he answered

"What?!"

"no complaints, no buts and whats. we will move in manila." dad said and left me dumbfounded

(at school)

"where's ms. perez?" i asked irizs, one of her friends.

"ah, kasama niya si franczis sa rooftop" he amswered

what are they doing in the rooftop?

when i was about to enter the rooftop, i heard them talking and laughing

"ms. perez" i called her

they both immediately looked on me
she walk towards me

"can we talk? in private?" i asked her

"o-okay." she answered

we went to a room where there's no students

"so anong pag uusapan natin?"

"it's about me" i answered, she looked at me from head to toe

"tungkol sayo? bat natin pag uusapan sarili mo, wala naman akong pake say-"

"i'm moving to manila." i said, he was shocked for a second

"WEH?!"

"wow, are you happy now?" i asked

"medjo" she said

"you're mean" i said and crossed my arms

"teka bat sakin mo sinabi? bat di mo sabihin sa adviser natin?" she asked

"i will tell it to her later, i just want to let you know that i'm moving to manila" i said

"m'kay" she said

"i guess, you'll be the top of the class when i'm not here na" i said

"balik na tayo sa room" she said

NEXT DAY

"If all of you are wondering why mr. lopez are not here, he and his parents told me that they will be moving in manila. mr. lopez will be studying there till college."

"since mr. lopez is gone, ms. alonzo will be the new vice president" our adviser said
