After the phone call, Chloe went to a bar a couple blocks away from campus. Drinking at 10am on a Thursday was not in Chloe's typical routine, but she always found herself there after a heartbreak. Whatever this was was worse than any heartbreak.

"Chloe, right?" The bartender said as she walked in. Chloe was the only person in, probably because nobody is drinking this early on a weekday.

"God that's embarrassing you know my name. Do I really come in here this often?" Chloe tried to joke with the bartender despite her sadness.

"It's hard to forget such a pretty face," the bartender said with a smirk.

"I'm so sorry, but what's your name again?"

"Don't worry about it. It's Blair."

"Could I get some tequila, Blair?"

"Everything alright? Most people aren't drinking tequila at 10am, even college kids." Blair said with a smile.

"Yeah, well. Shit happens."

"I'll stop asking."

Chloe sat there drinking tequila straight for a while. She had managed to get pretty drunk, but not drunk enough to forget why she was drinking in the first place.

"Want to ask what's wrong again?" Chloe slurred.

"Oh do tell, Chloe. You're my most interesting customer of the day."

"It all started with her." Chloe pointed to her lock screen with a picture of her and Beca.

"She screwed me over. Again and again..."

"Who is she?"

"We met 3 years ago at college, and I fell in love. That was a stupid fucking idea because she never felt the same. She said she did, but she didn't!"

"How do you know?"

"Because people who love you don't do the shit she did to me. She pushes me away like I'm nothing. And that's why I'm here this morning trying to forget we ever happened."

"Not that I don't love your company, and your business, but no amount of alcohol is going to fix this." Blair was always good with her customers, and she liked to know them on personal levels like this. Especially when she thought the customer was pretty cute, like Chloe.

"You said I was pretty earlier, maybe you can help me get over Beca." Chloe was a mess. She would never act like this normally, but the combination of alcohol and heartbreak was taking over.

"As much as I'm flattered, I can't take you up on that. My best advice for you is to go home, sober up, maybe talk to a friend, and think about this in a better headspace."

"You're so nice to me, Blair."

"Can I call Amy to pick you up?"

"Amy!"

Blair jokingly rolled her eyes. Amy frequently came in with Bumper, so she had gotten to know Blair pretty well. Well enough to have each others numbers.

Soon enough, Amy was at the bar picking up Chloe.

"Thanks for talking with her," Amy said.

"No problem, come back soon! Maybe a little later in the day next time," Blair joked.

"Byeeeee Blairrr!!!" Chloe whined as Amy helped her out.

Blair waved back.
