Lilith stood at the entrance of the carnival. She's never been to a carnival before. "First time?" Azelia said from beside her. "They don't have this stuff where I'm from." Lilith said.
"Looks like you got a admirer" Jemma nudged Lilith before looking Xavier's way. Lilith followed her gaze to the tall boy "sneakily" staring at her. Lilith raised both eyebrows in question toward him. He gave her a small smile before returning to the ticket booth he was at.
Lilith was trying to win this giant stuffed spider. Ring toss was obviously not her strong suit. "You suck" a voice said from behind her. She turned and seen Xavier. "I'm not good at everything" she rolled her eyes. He fake gasped "you aren't?!".
She scowled at him "I'm joking. Come on play another game with me in the meantime" he offered. "Absolutely not."Lilith said walking away. She picked up some cotton candy and Rowan bumped into her.
A burning feeling erupted in her chest. Her body stiffened and she fell back onto the ground. Xavier ran over scooping her up. "Lilith? Lilith! Wake up!" He said frantically. Wednesday passed him "Wednesday!" He called but she kept running. He picked up Lilith brought her to her room.
When he got there the room was empty beside he severed hand on her bed reading a magazine. "What the fuck" he said and thing jumped up. Thing jumped onto the desk allowing Lilith to be placed on her bed.
Thing tapped the desk to draw Xavier's attention to the written note. 'Is she okay?' . "Uh I don't know my roommate bumped into her and then she just fell like she was frozen." He told thing.

The next morning when she awoke the first thing she was met with was a giant white stuffed spider. The one she wanted at the fair. "Thing? What happened?" She asked. Thing told her everything Xavier told him. "Where did this come from" she asked. Pointing to the stuffed spider.
"Azelia? Uh okay, thanks thing." The girl groggily got up, she moved her necklace a bit to reveal a large red burn mark. "What the hell?" She said staring at it in the mirror. She went to find Wednesday who was with Enid and Jemma.
"Hey!" Enid greeted her. "Hey. Wednesday I need you" the girl said. Wednesday set down the paint brush and followed after her sister. They went up to Lilith's dorm. "Thing this is where you have been hiding!?" Wednesday said.
Thing crawled under Lilith's pillows. "Wednesday....this necklace mom gave me. Look" she moved the locket the revel a dark red burn mark. "What the hell" Wednesday said. Wednesday poked it.
Lilith hissed and pushed her away. "Quit it. At the carnival where did you go? I was getting cotton candy then that kid ron smacked into me and then I woke up here" Lilith said. "Ron? You mean Rowan?" Wednesday asked. "Yeah".
Wednesday paced a bit trying to think. "Did you have a vision?" She asked. "No. He just bumped into me and then my chest was burning and then I woke up here" Lilith said. The girl walked over and picked up her crystal ball.
"Call Mortisha Addams" she said into the ball. Soon her mothers face was there. "Lilith? You aren't supposed to-" Wednesday stepped in view. "It's an emergency mother, Lilith's necklace burned her and she passed out".
Mortisha's eyebrows knitted together. "Hm. Those necklaces are supposed to harness your visions. Tell me exactly what happened." She said. "Eating cotton candy, some boy knocked into me, my chest burned, I woke up in my bedroom the next day" Lilith said.
"We also have thing. Thing said someone brought me up here and left." Lilith added. "Thing?" Mortisha played dumb. Wednesday pulled a struggling thing from under Lilith's pillow. Mortisha laughed. "Hello thing" to which the hand waved.
"As far as the amulet go you must find out why it's doing that on your own. It's different to each owner".
