I had lots of fun writing this one :P
Twenty two years of age,
That's pretty much ancient!
A white haired sage,
A wrinkled old elephant.
A toothless crone,
A with-wire phone.
And wait here's another:
Rapunzel's fake mother!
A faded black and white pic,
A beam of starlight ray,
A grandfather clock's tick,
Prereg system of UIA!!!!
Tortoises and dinosaurs,
Dried up bones and broken glass.
Rusty gates and squeaky doors,
Sparse and wilting yellowing grass.
Before you tear me apart,
A metaphor close to my heart:
A certain "blindy fake" Time Lord,
Just over nine hundred years old!
Bronte - Jane Eyre! - and Dickens,
Shakespeare's rotten plays.
Jane Austen and her heroins,
Robinson Crusoe's outcast days.
Of course there's also the Face of Boe,
Providing you still remember that show.
And then again that manipulative bore,
Professor Albus Dumbledore!
(Don't ask.. I have a huge hatred towards Dumbledore.. euuugghh.)
And any other super-aged thing,
Maybe a long ago story you were once told.
Or like when people still sing-
Let it Go! - now that's old!!!
Or like moldy cheese,
Frozen peas,
Crumbs of bread,
Fungusy spread.
Okay, okay, I'll give it a break,
Before you break my spine!
But I'm not stopping for your dignity's sake,
It's just that I'm fresh out of rhyme!
I'm just so exceedingly glad,
Your birthday comes before me.
There's just so much more fun to be had,
For once to be driving YOU crazy!
