"Y/N, come outside for a bit" said M/N from a distance, young Y/N obeyed and slowly walked into the sun. She squinted her eyes, finally seeing the sun. Due to a sickness Y/N had days before she, was in bed for a long time notable to walk. Her older sister always told her stories when she was in bed. Normally about demons and fairies, or how dad got eaten by a demon while you were 2, you being you you obviously took it as a joke because who would believe that? ( Y/N is currently 6-7)
"Aren't you going to go play with your friends or something?" Asked M/N again.
"I told you already I don't have any" said Y/N pouting at M/N question.
"Go make some then, shoo! Don't come back until you've made one!"
And with that M/N pushed Y/N down into the village street. It was very lively for a small village, people were swarming stalls, some were eating, other just talking with other villagers.
Y/N was walking around finally seeing the woods. Y/N saw a really pretty purple butterfly ( Shinobu vibes 🦋 ) so Y/N ran through the woods trying to find the butterfly soon enough it just disappeared into thin air, instead finding a small house separated from the rest. Curious Y/N walked over, finding two boys with black hair turning into a teal. They both had mint green eyes, one having a softer gaze than the other.
Y/N went over to introduce herself, maybe befriending these two she could finally go back home.( if only it worked like that) "Hello!" Said Y/N trying to muster up her sweetest smile.
"Hi" said one awkwardly looking at Y/n Strangely. The other one was more optimistic saying hello to Y/n. Soon enough Y/N learned that they were called Yuichiro and Muichiro, by appearance they looked like each others twins.
Y/N and the twins were playing in the woods till night, the freezing winds were blowing hysterically. Y/N was shaking violently. Muichiro noticed. "Hey Y/N I can go get you a hoodie if your cold?" (Idk what they called a hoodie in the Taisho era)
"Yea- that would be nice." Said Y/N still shaking.
After a while Muichiro came back from their house, with a hoodie in hand passing it to Y/N. Y/N noticed the hoodie was a plain black with F/C it had a pattern on the side that was filled with white.
"Thank you Muichiro!" Y/N said putting on the hoodie, turning her head to look at Yuichiro, as Y/N looked at him he seemed unbothered by the freezing temperatures.
||Time skip: 3 years||
Every morning, Y/N and the twins would always play with each other. They became the best of friends, almost inseparable. Y/N invited them to her house, the house was a small but comfortable place, when inviting them to her house M/N was excited to see Y/N's friend for the second time, as you would usually prefer playing in the woods than at your house.( if you don't, too bad )
Ever since Mekatsu ran away from home ( Y/N's previous best friend ) Y/N never had any other people coming over to her house, sometime she was afraid they would have misfortune, because of what happened to Mekatsu and her parents right after she showed them to her house. Y/N showed the twins to her bedroom. There was a neat bed ready for sleeping, the covers were a cream colour, a small desk in the right corner and a closet in the left, the walls were a pale F/C, the curtains was a brighter version of that colour.
Hours past, finally the sun set, meaning it was time for them to go home. As they all ran through the house, Y/N beat them to the front door, trying to open it, she saw a red eye peeking through the door, she jumped back from fright, the picture was replaying in her head, Y/N had never seen anything like that. No animals had those eyes, not even humans.
"Are you alright Y/N?" Asked Muichiro concerned.
"Yeah I'm f-fine!" You try putting on your happiest smile, but you could easily tell he knew you weren't.
"Byee, see you tomorrow, get home safe!" Said Y/N waving from her doorstep. Muichiro and Yuichiro waved back slowly fading into the darkness. The thing is, they didn't know it was the last time they would be seeing each other for a long time.
Time skip: morning
"Y/N!" Yelled Kitomi from the kitchen.
"Coming" Y/N yelled back quickly rushing through the house to get to her,
"Have you heard the news?" She said in a sad voice. You looked at her funny,
"No, what is it about?"
"Apparently a demon killed Yuichiro."
"Y-you're funny aren't you,tell me it's a joke."
She just looked at you, your eyes locked onto hers. Her eyes filled with pity.
The world around you stopped as your heart fell into your stomach, tears swelled in the corners of your eyes threatening to fall at any second.
"No! Tell me it's a joke!" Now tears were streaming down your face, disbelief filled your eyes." Muichiro made it at least, right?"
"They didn't find his body so it is possible - but unlikely"
You were happy enough with that answer, knowing he could be out there still alive.
"By the way, like I've told you in many of my stories that you never listen to, demons were the one who killed him"

Taisho secrets -Y/N still has Muichiro's hoodie and isn't gonna give it back - The red eye wasn't Muzan Jackson's - Mekatsu was Y/N first friend, then she just ran away ig 🤷♀️
