chapter five - the hangout and the rumors

Just a quick note before i start this chapter, this will include the ending part of episode one and a part of episode two, enjoy!

The time is approaching to when xave and I are going to hangout. I'm excited to be spending time with him again. Wednesday and Enid notice me getting myself ready, Enid shoots me with her question.

E: "VI ARE YOU GOING ON A DATE? WHO'S THE LUCKY GUY? OH MY GOSH IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND?"

I have to answer her quick or else she won't shut up and just continue her questioning later.

"ENID, relax i'm not going on a date i'm simply just going to hangout with a friend."

W: "Is that friend Xavier?"

"Maybe, and so what if it is."

W: "I think you have a liking to him, and I think he feels the same way too. You both were sitting quite close to each other in the infirmary and you guys were comfortable."

E: "Ouu, vivi and xavier are hanging out late."

"To be clear guys I thought we were sitting at a good distance from each other."

E: "We'll leave that to ms. judge addams to decide."

"Oh shush enid, and you too wednesday. Me and xave are just friends. Have been for a long time now."

W: "Who said that you guys will stay just as friends. Majority of female and male friendships sometimes end up being together romantically in the end."

E: "Wednesdays right, and besides a lot of people on my blog are asking me to talk about you two. BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE ALRIGHT WITH IT, I won't do it if you aren't."

"It's alright e go ahead I don't mind. As long as it's nothing about us being more then friends."

E: "I promise it won't"

I knew she was lying but I don't have a care for that, I've got to head to the quad to see xave like right now. Before heading out thought I notice wednesday, there's something off about her.

"Wednesday, You seem a bit off try playing your chello always used to make you feel better before so try now."

I know fixing the gloomy girl won't work knowing she shows very little on how she's feeling. But I'm not sure.

I'm walking into the quad when I see him.
He turns around, though the lighting is very dim I can tell he has that same smile. Though, it seems to be bigger when he sees me.

That may sound wrong but I don't stare at him and wait for him to look at me to see his smile. Not all the time at least. Okay I admit, sometimes but like I said not all the time.

X: "Almost thought you bailed on me."

He exclaims as I walk towards him.

"Sorry I took a couple minutes longer than I should've, roommates you know."
X: "Oh no I understand, I mean hey you still showed up so thats all good with me."
"So what are you working on mr. artist?"
X: "You'll have to wait. I want it to be a surprise to you and everyone else."
"Woww, so no exception for me?"
X: "No can do, wish I could but sorry vi."

I was about to say something until I heard something in the distance, a chello being played. She took my advice.

Xavier and I continue talking for a couple more minutes. A couple minutes had turn into a couple hours and I finally noticed that, xave did too.

We then say our goodnights and head to our dorms.
I like spending time with him.

( Jump forward to the night before the poe cup. )

I walk into my dorm after another hangout with xavier noticing wednesday, and enid chatting on the balcony, so I go over to join them.

E: "VI, YOU WILL NOT GUESS WHAT. WEDNESDAY IS JOINING US IN THE POE CUP."

What have I missed.
"Wow wednesday, that's definitely unexpected."
I was going to say something else but again, i'm cut off.

E: "Also there's a rumor that you and xavier are secretly dating and are just hiding it because you guys are scared of what bianca might do."

I hadn't heard what she said cause I was well, texting xave.
"Sorry what did you say Enid I was texting xave, can you repeat that?"

E: "SEE WEDNESDAY, that's why people think that."

"What? Guys i'm lost what are you guys talking about."

W: "People believe you and xavier are secretly dating, and quite frankly i'm starting to suspect that too. You guys spend majority of your free time together and hangout late most nights."

Do people really believe that? I hope they know it's nothing like that. And besides even if that were the truth we wouldn't keep it too secret.
