-Present Time-
"Wait, what?" Asahina sat there in shock. She could not believe what she was hearing.
"You heard me." Shouta said, sighing. "After much debating with Nemuri and Hizashi, the discussion of your grades and your strength in your quirk increasing, we thought it would be good for you to go to high school in the next 10 months."
"A public one?" She asked, staying calm as much as she could. "Which one would I go to?"
"Quite frankly, any school you want to go to. It has to be your decision." Aizawa said, but then he got an answer right away.
"UA high..."
"..." he hummed and raised an eyebrow.
"I realize that you teach there, as well as Aunt Nemu and Uncle Mic..." she looked to her hands in her lap, "... But I want to prove myself to you guys! I want to become a hero like you guys!"
"It's going to be tough, especially if you want to go to UA." Aizawa warned, "... And we aren't going to baby you."
"I don't care." Asahina looked at him with determination. "I wanna learn for myself what it takes to be a hero."
"...Heh." He chuckled lightly and rustled her hair with a small smile, "... With that attitude and heart, someday you will... but don't get too reckless."
"Yes, sir!" Asahina nodded.
Though 10 months were just that, 10 months, my training did not stop there.
No.
I still had lots to learn, especially if I wanted to get into the one place my dad worked - UA High School - the school of the most elite, including All Might himself. These 10 months were not easy. It seemed like it was a training ground, and I was the trainee.
10 months of training, 10 months of absolutely knowledge cramming, 10 months of hell. My brain was fried by the end of it, it felt.

She sat at the park bench after a jog, groaning and leaning back into the backboard. "...Ugh... almost home..."
"Hey, are you okay?" She heard a woman's voice as she lifted her head up. She saw a petite woman with glasses, delicately sitting in front of her purple eyes and her slate hair flowing down to her elbows. "You look tired."
"Oh, yeah." Asahina smiled at this woman. "I'm training so I can get into UA."
"Ah, an inspiring hero, huh?" The woman sat next to her.
"Yeah..." she sighed, "I was nervous when dad told me he was putting me in an actual public school! It's been forever since I've been to one."
"I see, so you're home schooled." The woman concluded with an educated guess.
"Y-yeah, I guess you can say that..." Hina nervously laughed, and the woman stood up with a smile.
"Well, I hope I get to see the news from when you become a wealthy and famous hero..." she chuckled, "It would be an honor to know you're on these streets once you did accomplish your goal... and I'll be seeing you on the TV set."
Asahina felt a chill go up and down her spine as the woman left. As friendly as she seemed, something about that smile seemed... misplaced, like it didn't match the atmosphere she gave off.
She sighed and stood with a stretch, deciding to jog the rest of the way home with no thoughts except how she could improve her stamina. She arrived home and checked the clock.
