when we're young, we're taught the distinction between a villain and a hero, good and evil, a monster and a saint. but what if the only real difference is who's telling the story?

my name is Beatrix Parker, or my alias Beatrix Colin.
i come from a long line of the villains in the tails you've heard about witches, vampires, werewolves, and everything in between.

daughter to Kai Parker and Evie Colin. my father, whom i've never even met, is what they call a villain. he massacred his siblings for power. being scared of ending up alone and weak. he was an outcast just like me. my mother, was just a simple witch, born into a family of blood thirsty werewolves. when she was young she escaped from their claws, quite literally. she, just like my father, did everything she could to save herself.

the school behind these gates are to protect
people like me. our secrets and flaws. which for in my opinion, is bullshit. we're just pawns in their game. weapons to be used if any species starts to riot. hence why i refuse to play along. no one sees it like that though. they see it as a sanctuary for us.

but it's all just a bunch of pretty lies. the things we cannot see because it's not what we wanna hear

"remind me again why i'm being punished." Beatrix asked in a bore. she sat in the backseat of Alaric Saltzman's car. in the driver seat was dr. Saltzman and passenger Hope Mikaelson.

"last i checked i haven't done anything wrong." she mutters playing with her uniform. it was uncomfortable and not her style. unfortunately it was mandatory on recruiting missions.

"this isn't a punishment Beatrix." Alaric's stern voice rung.

"oh, so i'm only here because you don't trust me at school when you're not there." Beatrix sneered. her exterior stone cold as she through the rearview mirror stared at the headmaster.

"that's not true." Alaric contradicted. "you're here as a learning experience."

"to learn what? how to kill the headmaster of my school because he's being unfair?"

"no. to help others who are in need of it."

"i know how to help others." Beatrix crossed her arm's unimpressed with his lies. he wasn't even a particularly good liar.

"you only help people who can give you something in return." Hope chimed in. "i suggest you pipe it down, Mikaelson." Hope rolled her eyes at her friends comment.

"i want you to help people from of the goodness of your heart." "what if i don't have one?" Beatrix asked with a smirk. "recent studies show that kids of sociopaths have a higher risk of being psychopaths."
