Dustin's P.O.V

"Son of a bitch! Son of a bitch!" Dustin Henderson screamed  as he was desperately looking for quarters,

"A  police chase rocked downtown Pittsburgh earlier this evening..." the New reported spoke calmly on the TV,
"Another stupid penny!" Dustin screamed in disappointment,
"Dusty, watch it!" Ms. Claudia Henderson exclaimed, "You almost hit Mews."

"Can I please check under your cushions?" Dustin said obnoxiously ignoring his mother comment,  "Dusty." She said,  "Mom, please?" Dustin said begging his mother, "It's an emergency!"

"Who's your buddy?" "Who's your buddy?" "Love you, Mom." He said running to his bedroom to talk to his friend,

"Lucas, you copy?" He said into the walkie to get contact to his friend, "I've got four quarters." He said disappointed to only four,
"I-I-I-im still l-l-l-looking, be right b-b-b-back" Y/n said, leaving her walkie,

"What's your haul?" He asked Lucas,
"Take your puny haul and multiply it by five." He said obnoxiously,
"How?" He said, questioning his friend,

"While you were scrounging around like a homeless bum," he said delighted,
"I mowed Old Man Humphrey's lawn." He continued,
"Old Man Humphrey's got that kinda cash?" He asked in this in disbelief that Humphrey has this money,

"Just call Mike and Y/n already already," Dustin said for his friend to call this Mike and Y/n,

"You call Mike and Y/n," he said in a demanding manner, "I have to go take a shower from doing real work," he bragged to Dustin, "like a man," " y-y-y-you're a man when w-w-w-e tell you," Y/n, "Over and out," Lucas said closing his antena,

"What's your haul?" Dustin asked Y/n,
He heard her muttering numbers, "25" she said, He could tell her face was normal, like it was nothing,
"What, how?" He asked atonished,
"I-I-I-ill split it w-w-w-with you," she said,
"But it wouldn't be fair, it sould be 12.5" he said, after doing the maths mentally,
"Ill t-t-t-take 12, a-a-a-and you have 13," she said splitting her haul with her best friend,
"Thanks, Y/n" "your welcome"

Y/n's P.O.V

My stuttering became less, but it was still there,
I got dressed into,

Then I went outside to wait for Mike with my skateboard,

Mike's P.O.V

"Mike, do you copy?," Dustin said over the walkie for the other Wheeler sibling, "Mike, do you copy?" He repeated for his Mike, "Yeah. Yeah, I copy." Mike said finally awnsering,

"What are you doing on this channel?" He asked riding his bike to the Arcade,
"Nothing." Mike said firmly,
"Lucas and I have six bucks total." He said after doing the maths, "What's your haul?" Dustin asked,

"shit!" He exclaimed, "I don't know yet." He said after he realised he had banned so carried away he forgot to get his haul,

"What do you mean you don't know yet?" Dusfin asked, as it had been hours,
"Hold on. Call Will." He said as he ran into his sister Nancy's room,
He opened her piggy back and dumped it on the bed,

"What the hell are you doing?" Nancy said as she caught her brother stealing from her again,
"I'll pay you back!" Mike said as he rushed passed her and ran down stairs,
"Bye!" Mike shouted to his parents as he ran,
Nancy: "Mike! Mike!" She called for her brother to stop running,
"Get back here!" She scoled like a snake spitting its venom,
"Hey." Mrs. Wheeler said firmly, "No running in the house. What is going on?" She said as her kids completely ignored her and ran passed,
Nancy: "Mike! Mike!" She said as Mike got on her bike and rode off,
"asshоlе!" She shouted after her brother as he was already of the drive way,

Y/n's P.O.V

I saw Mike completely leave me outside and rode away as Nancy ran out after him I suspected Mike has stole from Nancy again,
"N-nancy," I said softly, she looked down at me as I opened her left hand and put my 12 quarters in her hand,
"U-use it w-wisely" you said as you rode off,

Nancy smiled to herself,
