"Ugghhhh" I sighed tiredly walking out of the office building

Working extra hours are excruciating. My body is tense from the hours of sitting at my desk. I was getting ready to leave at 3 pm but nope my boss just had to add another stack of files to my desk. And look at the time now 10:13 pm and I'm just leaving the building

There was no taxi. I had no car and the company car wasn't available unless it was a medical or company emergency. So walking in the dark was my last and only option.

I was walking for awhile half way to my destination and I heard foot steps following. My feet quickened their pace and so did theirs. That person is defiantly following me

I quickly went up the step of my apartment building 2 at a time. Since the apartment doors were outside so was the stair I could easily get to my floor. The elevator was nearly broken all the time and stunk so bad no one used it.

I looked down the stairwell and it was someone following me. Maybe they live here? Probably. I reach my floor and sped walked straight to my door. I looked back towards the stairwell and the person that was following me speed up.

My heart raced as I fumbled to type in my password on my keypad. As soon as I heard the correction beep I ran inside.

I wasn't fast enough

The foot of the person that was likely to be a man stopped the door from closing.

I didn't have the chance to scream before the doors burst opened and pushed me back making me fall on my butt. I got up and ran to my room. The door slammed closed and he was hot on my tail. I tried to shut the door but he easily stopped it making me stumble and hit the ground

"Get up" the man said but I didn't I was to scared to move

He snatched me by my bicep and dragged me to my bed easily throwing me on it.

My body thrashed around yelling at him but he didn't hesitate. He grabbed my wrist and straddled me

"Please sir please let me go. You can have anything in this apartment just don't hurt me" I said with a shake voice

He was quiet for a moment as one of his large hands gripped both of my wrist above my head

"That means I can have you. Your words not mine" his voice was evil with a hit of amusement

My eyes widen in fear

His face was covered with a black mask. His out fit only consisted of black including his shoes and gloves

"I m-meant any of my valuables like my wallet- yes my wallet I'll give you pin to my card and any cash you can have" I cracked out

"Hmmm no I just want you" he voiced deeply as swiped his thumb against my bottom lip

My body shook and trashed against him. I could a hardly moved my upper body so I used my legs to knee him in the back but that stopped working when sat on my knees. He now straddle my knees still gripping at my wrist

His other hand touched my face gently then slowly slide down my neck to the hem of my shirt

"Don't do this I...I swear on my life I won't tell if you let me go" my voice trembled but I refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing me cry

He ignored my pleads and dug in his pocket. My eyes widen when I seen what he pulled out a small amount of rope and duck tape

I trashed around pleading for him to stop but he didn't. He slapped me and I froze.
