The blood trail guided the police to the route and later the desert ruins where a heavy sand storm was taking place with a figure of a trainer and a Beldum there with the Mirage tower behind him.
The policewoman screamed at the trainer to get out of the storm but the trainer didn't seem to respond at all, maybe he was lost, the trainer just responded with ''Hunger... i'm so hungry'', the policewoman tried to get closer but she couldn't due to the storm, the trainer threw a pokeball to the field between him and the officer, she thinked maybe he wanted to have a pokemon fight so she threw her Combusken to the battle field meanwhile the trainers Beldum entered to the battle field too, a pokemon battle has begun.
The Beldum had low HP so the Combusken used Quick Attack, the Beldum fainted but instead of just droping to the ground the Beldum began to slowly turn rusty and break in pieces meanwhile the trainer laughed.
The storm began to stop as the trainer rotted seeing how he was only a dead body with more and more pokemon bodies appearing to the side of the trainer, he had a deformed look with no arms and the jaw almost completely ripped out of his body.
The policewoman tried to call for reinforcement to the station but she was tacled by the trainer as another pokemon got out of the pokeball, a Stellix with blood covering his whole mouth came out and destroyed the radio of the officer.
The policewoman threw a pokeball with a Marill to the battle, the Marill attacked the Stellix but the Stellix killed it without even trying, the Steelix stared at the policewoman as she just tried to run.
