(I kinda hate the first part of the Chapter-)

I came back for mono, after the maw..

That was....I thought it was a mistake at first. I thought he was gone, no more, just turned into The Thin man. But I found him in a chair, below the room with the crumbling bridge.

"Mono.." I choked out, running towards him.

He turned around and I saw his eyes widen and then narrow in an angry expression.

"Six.." He harshly whispered back.

His skin looked pale, paler then before almost a tint of blue. It reminded me of the Thin man, but I couldn't just leave him here, not again.

"Mono, I...I know a way out so we can escape together!" I tried, holding my hand out to him.

He frowned, "I don't trust you.." He blandly answered.

I retracted my hand, "Neither of us are corrupted by The Thin man...We can think logically about this, this time..." I paused for a second, messing with the ends of my dirty yellow raincoat, "I'm sorry for what I did.."

I swept my hair out of my face so he could see the genuine look on my face.

"I'm so sorry, I never should have done that.. I was so scared. That choice was so wrong, I should've never done that to you." I felt like crying but if I did it would be harder to see. It would've been harder to escape with Mono. But I let the tears pile up in my eyes before wiping them away and sniffling.

I saw his face look away then back, his face looked concerned.

"I..I..Thank you for that.." He quietly answered, looking down at his fingers, fidgeting with them. He didn't know what to say, it was obvious.

I reached forward and held out my hand, "I'm sorry, now, will you let me help you?" I asked, smiling at him.

He looked at my hand then at my face. He slowly smiled back as he shuffled off the chair and took my hand. The tower immediately started to rumble, it was angry that its power source was trying to leave. I just nodded at Mono and started running, pulling him along. There wasn't enough time to explain where we're going, we just needed to get out.

I saw a small TV dangling from the ceiling, it was on but glitching weirdly.

I turned to Mono, "Can you use your powers to go through it?" I asked, pointing at the TV.

He only nodded as he ran over to it, now pulling me along.

He put his hands on the TV, "Hold on!" He yelled, I put my arms around him. I hoped the tower didn't collapse on us before we could get through.

The tower howled and screeched as cracks filled the hallway. I held onto Mono tighter, closing my eyes trying to prepare for this. At least I got to see him again, even if it's the last time.

"Got it!" Mono screamed and I opened my eyes as the two of us sank into the TV. We went into it, it reminded me of when the Thin Man kidnapped me. I could see the eyes, I stared at some of them as high pitched noises went in and out of my ears. It felt like swimming in liquid but falling, the surroundings were a pink tint, like it normally was. Until it turned Orange then yellow, and then it was green. Finally it turned red and we were spat out on the ground.

I turned around to check on the TV we came out of, only it wasn't a TV. I reached over for it and held it in my hand, the thing looked like an odd looking camera. I turned it over and over until I saw some writing on it. It looked like a name? Or a message I couldn't tell.

"What is that?" Mono asked from behind.

"I don't know.." I answered and pocketed the thing in my raincoat.

I looked up and noticed that the sky was clear, it was dark but clear. I gasped at the sight, it was quite pretty. Mono looked up too and he gasped too, it was an unusual sight.

My arms instinctively crossed each other while I tried to warm myself up, but then I realized there wasn't any cold wind. It was really warm and comfy, and I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face.

A glowing ball was slowly coming up into the sky, making the land even warmer as beautiful colors stretched throughout the sky.

Mono stood up, "We need to keep on going, just in case anything comes after us." He explained. I nodded at him then started walking and he followed after me.

The two of us followed a path into an odd looking place. The path turned to a bridge made out of a weird feeling of flooring. The two of us walked across the bridge, it seemed to be going into a place that looked like a castle or a city.

The two of us stopped before the entrance, I wasn't so sure about going into this new city. It looked like Mono wasn't so sure about it either. We kept on side glancing at each other then at the entrance. I sighed then slowly walked in, ready to run if anything came out. I heard Mono walk behind me and we looked around. I was the first to notice that the buildings were a normal size and nothing was broken or abandoned. I walked in a bit further before Mono pulled me back.

"Six! Careful, Viewers.." He whispered, pointing at some figure around the center area.

I nodded to him and backed up a bit, but I stopped when I noticed something. Some of the figures were moving and they had actual faces. Their faces weren't contorted in any way and they looked..happy.

I dragged Mono over, "Look at their faces Mono.." I pointed at them with amazement. His eyes seemed to widen with surprise too.

"That's..unexpected..." He whispered but still held onto the wall, like he was scared. Mostly because he wanted to keep his guard up just in case but I wanted him to also enjoy these sights. I understood why too, especially after what I did to him.

I turned back to the people, getting a bit closer. Mono seemed to just watch me with a nervous face. I was about to call him over until I ran into some, well, kids.

They were yelling and laughing, having fun too. Something Mono and I were supposed to be doing, well I wished we could. But their loud voices hurt my ears and they wouldn't stop talking over each other, kids from where we're from never talked that much. One of them turned to me and giggled at me while the others quickly joined in.

"What are you wearing!"

"Why do you look like that?!"

"Do you want to play with me!?"

"Let's go pick flowers!"

"No, I want to go with you!"

"What's your name!"

I was sick from their constant questions and I raised my fist and punched one of them directly in the face. The kid closest to me, the one that got hit, fell to the floor. The others gasped and backed up from the scene. One of the kids ran off, then three did, they all went to the taller figures. They seemed to be talking to them....oh...

They looked scared and the figures looked angry so I went to Mono and dragged him up and we ran away from the scene before they could notice me. I didn't punch that hard, sure the kid got a bloody nose and hit their head but they were fine!

I ducked behind a house with Mono to catch my breath for a bit.
