Chapter 11

Katie's P.O.V-

We were walking down the beach when I saw a girl from school called Chelsea, she's the new girl and a bit of a barbie, with her sidekicks on each side, she gave me a dirty look and i smirked and she came up to us and said "Hi charlie" I clenched my fist because of the way she said it, she continued "Where are you going?" Charlie nodded his head in the direction of the beach and said "The beach" she glared at me, charlie continued "Wanna join?" right now i wanted to kill Charlie for saying this, "No it's fine, i see you wanna spend some time with your friends" Chelsea said, Charlie said "No it doesn't matter i'm sure no one would mind" at this moment, they all walked together and i decided to walk with Harvey and Leo as harvey decided to join, Savannah(Harvey's gf) couldn't come as she was revising. Basically, it was Charlie,Chelsea,Cory(sidekick one),Chrissa(sidekick 2) at the front. Will and Lucy in front of us and us three at the back. Charlie kept looking back at me, but I pulled a fake smile and kept talking to the boys.

Harvey said "Stop it Katie, you look like you're about to kill someone!" Leo interrupted saying "I don't blame her, Charlie shouldn't have done that, invited those, especially when it's Katie's last day here" I looked at Leo and said "Thankyou Leo, at least someone understands" as we reached the beach. Charlie came over to me, and said "You ok?" I nodded and said "Yeah" maybe i wasn't ok but i couldn't tell Charlie, yeah Chelsea was prettier than me, why wouldn't she be, she had perfect blue eyes and such a good figure, bet she already pulled millions of boys in our school, or even they pulled her, YES, I WAS JEALOUS! But only because she was flirting with my Charlie.

Just then, my phone started ringing, I answered it and it was my dad "Yeah dad, what's up?" he said "I'm at the beach, just come to the food court" I declined it and told decided to just go without telling anyone where I was going and started walking off the beach to the food court, I saw my dad and walked over, "Hi, what's wrong?" He told me to sit down, so I did as I was told and he said "My job isn't in Newcastle anymore, they've decided to transfer it to Australia" I opened my mouth to speak and said "I'm not coming with you, as if Newcastle wasn't bad enough, but Australia, seriously dad?" he continued, "You didn't let me finish, you don't have to come with me, but i do need to tell you that i have a girlfriend and me and your mum have split up" I said "Wait so i'm not coming with you, and btw it's for the best that you and mum have split up because it's not right, especially for me and Jordi so thanks dad" i got up and hugged my dad and said "I will come visit after my exams" he kissed my forehead and said "I love you, and i'll most definitely miss you, make sure you don't cause any trouble and I best be off then, because i need to tell Jordi" I said "I love you dad" and kissed him goodbye.

As I started walking down to the beach again, Leo and Harvey grabbed me before I could walk to over to Charlie and I said "What you doing? Nearly gave me a mini heart attack" Harvey said "We saw you and your dad talking, so tell me what he said?" I started saying "Well, I'm not going Newcastle, because my dads job had got transferred to Australia so I'm not going" they both hugged me and said "Oh thank god, that means you get to stay with us for the summer holidays and like forever and for your last year in school" I interrupted them and said "I need to go tell Charlie, now come on" Leo pulled me back and said "No, well me and Harvey thought of a little plan, maybe you can tell Charlie that you're going to Australia instead of Newcastle and then we'll somehow video it and prank him" I shook my head and said "I can't do that to Charlie" they pushed me towards the beach and said "It's just for a laugh, go on" so I did what I was told and I said "Okay, but make sure you get my good side? Jks" I gave Harvey my phone.

I walked towards Charlie and said "Can I speak to you in private?" He said "Yeah hang on we'll go to the food court" so he grabbed my hand and we walked up to the food court, as we sat down Charlie said "What is it?" I said "Charlie I'm not going to Newcastle" he smiled and said "Really?" I frowned and said "Let me finish, well the reason I'm not going to Newcastle is because my dads job got transferred to Australia so, I have to go with him and well I'm not coming back, that means I'll have to go to a new school, make new friends, have a step-mum and well start a new life" he frowned and started crying, I said "Charlie, don't cry, that was the one choice I had, but the other choice I decided to chose was to stay here with you" he smiled and lifted his head off the table and hugged me, still crying and said "I can't believe you did that to me, I'll get you back" he chased me back to the beach and I tripped which also caused Charlie to fall right on top of me I laughed and said "Not again" and he kissed me, he helped me up and I looked over Charlie's shoulder and saw Chelsea pull a face and if looks could kill, she also got her fist and punched it in the palm of her other hand, I scoffed because I knew that she couldn't beat me, girl, little did she know that when it comes to fighting, I ALWAYS WIN!! I walked down to Leo and Harvey and Harvey gave me my phone and said "He fell for it" they both nodded and Harvey said "Was cute though" I smiled and I walked towards Lucy.

The boys decided to have a swim, I told Lucy what happened with me not moving then about me and Charlie and what I saw Chelsea do and she said "Katie now remember, don't make the first move to hit her, let her hit you then obviously defend yourself and show her what you're made of, she's just jealous of you and Charlie" I nodded and said "Thanks Luce, I love you" Chelsea came up to us and said "Katie aren't you Erm supposed to be going to Newcastle?" I shook my head and said "No, not that I know of" she flicked her hair and said "Well we best be off" I fake smiled and said "Okayyyyy bye, nice having you around" as soon as she turned me and Lucy both said "NOT!" And burst out laughing, we decided to sunbathe for a bit so we took our clothes off and laid down on the hot sand and took loads of selfies.

Charlie's P.O.V-
I saw Katie and Lucy both in their bikini's sunbathing so I called Will and told him the plan and we both nodded and started walking towards them, we crept up behind them and grabbed them both, I grabbed Katie and chucked her over my shoulder and carried them into the water.

Katie's P.O.V-
As we were sunbathing, a pair of hands wrapped around me and was about to carry me into the water,I saw Will also doing this to Lucy, "Stop, Charlie, nooo" I said and continued "Let me down!" He just ignored me and threw me into the water, I pulled a frown and said "I don't like you" he smirked and said "I love you too" I can never take Charlie seriously, so I decided to swim for a bit and Charlie pulled me out of the water towards him and kissed me, "Ew get a room!" I heard a familiar voice say, I turned to see it was Kyle and Joshua, "What you doing here?" I shouted said and they said "We're just dropping by just to say we're having a party on Friday night,you're all welcome to come" I rolled my eyes and said "You could've just texted one of us, idiots" Kyle chirped in saying "Shut up, maybe I just came here to see you" I scoffed and said "Whatever" Charlie looked really angry and I pulled him to one side and said "Chill out babe, it's a joke" he turned to me and said "I know, I'm just being stupid" I interrupted him and said "No you're not, trust me I know what's it like when someone flirts with your boyfriend/girlfriend" he kissed me and he said "Promise me you'll never leave me Katie" i whispered in his ear saying "I promise, always and forever" I hugged him and he said "I'm so happy you're staying here with me, now let's go back to mine" I nodded and I took his hand as he pulled me up and I stripped into my clothes and started walking hand in hand and decided to go back to Charlie's house.
