(Y/N's POV)
I sat by the skate park waiting for James, I was teaching him how to skate for some extra cash,or at least that's what I would tell him.In all honesty, I had a major crush on him even though he probably didn't feel the same, almost every girl and some of the guys had a crush on him.
By the time he walked up to me he was acting nervous but who am I to ask, it was probably personal anyways.He was about in close enough to the point where I could see him, and then I'd noticed instead of his skateboard, it looked like he was holding, flowers?
I stood up to see him all dolled up at a skate park (which obviously looked weird) and when he actually spoke he said something along the lines of "Y/N , I've liked you for a really long time, and I know you probably don't feel the same but I just had to get it off my chest."
A group of kids some I knew and others absolute strangers, decided it would be romantic if they started clapping,some were even cheering for James, which made James blush even more than even I thought he could.
I took the flowers from his hand and made space from the bench I was already sitting on.There was a short but sweet moment of silence between the two of us until I finally got up and spoke "James, I liked you for awhile too, and I know you're probably going to ask me this and yes,I would love to date you."
James's eyes light up at the words and pulled me into a unexpected hug, he pulled away not that long later and asked "So you wanna go get something ,like now that we're finally official?"
"Of course, but you still owe $5"
"What Why?!"
"Cause I'm still your teacher"
