[6] A starry night

[Camera flashes, clicking sounds]

"Good, next." said Seobin

"I'll pose like a tourist now." I decided.

"Okay." He agreed.

"1...2...3."

"Should I face my back to the camera now?" I asked.

"No, we already have a good picture for the same pose that we took yesterday, not needed."

"But that was in a different scenery." I argued.

"Do what I'm saying, give a different pose now."

"Okay, fine."

We just completed our morning shoot at the mountain and we're now returning back home.

"By the way, Jiwoong, you told me you like someone? Can you tell me who now?" Seobin asked.

"Tell you? Hah, nobody knows it yet."

"Nobody? don't you have friends in Seoul?" He asked again.

"I do, but, it's just that I didn't say it to anybody." I explained.

"I see... so can I be the first?" He requested.

"Maybe, one day, not yet though."

Seobin just sighed at that.

"Hello!" I said as I entered the Yoon's house.

"Why are you always here?" Seobin asked.

"Can't I come here?"

"You can, are you here for dinner? We had ours alread-" I cut him off.

"I ate my dinner already, kiddo, don't worry." I assured him.

"Kiddo? ew-"

"Can I call you kiddo? It's cute." I teased.

"No way-"

"Okay, it's done, I'll call you kiddo then."

"Hey! You-" I cut him off again.

"I'm here for the picture selection, show me the pictures."

"I took like 600- how can we do it in a night-" Seobin was trying to say something when Seobin's dad interrupted.

"Go out for a night walk first, after that I'll let you two select the pictures, then do it all night or wake up early to select them, I don't know."

"A night walk?" We both said together.

"Should we go?"  I asked to Seobin.

"Should we? You HAVE to go, you NEED to go." said Seobin's dad.

"Okay, I guess we have to go then." said Seobin.

"Jiwoong?"

"Hm?"

"Where do you live in Seoul?" He asked.

"I live in in Yongsang-dong, you?" I asked back.

"Oh, I live in Dongjak."

"Dongjak... I see... so you can reach me by crossing Han River."

"Yeah, we're close, right?"

"Right."

"Let's meet one day when we reach Seoul." He spoke.

"Sure. I'd love to meet you there." I replied.

"Hey! What's with the sweet behavior?"

"Why? Can't I be sweet to my lil' kiddo?" I teased him.

"Ugh, you're back at it again."

"Kiddo, kiddo, kiddo!" I teased him again.

"Stop it."

"By the way, you asked me who I like right?" I brought up the topic.

"Yeah, are you ready to tell it to me?" He asked.

"I'll say it to you tomorrow."

"Come over to my house for dinner tomorrow, as a thank you gift for helping me in my assignment." He offered.

"Really? you're calling me over?" I asked, surprised.

"Not only you, with your dad."

"Really? wow. Make some good food."

"What do you want to eat?" He asked.

"You." I joked around.

"Hey, be serious."

"Okay... Udon?" I asked, unsure.

"Udon? Udon? Seriously... udon?"

"Yeah, why not?"

"I mean, I thought it had to be something special."

"I just felt like eating it, it's been long."

"Really... it's been long, nobody thinks about it... Okay then, Udon it is, I'll specially make it myself with my mom's tips, I won't let her do any of it."

"It better be good, I don't want to starve tomorrow."

"Don't you trust me?"

"I do, I do."

"Look at those stars, we barely see them in Seoul." I spoke.

"I know, right? There's just one star in the sky, or if some airplane has to pass by." He agreed.

"Haha, right."

"Do you believe when they say dead people go and live on the stars?" I asked.

"They might, we don't really know the life after dead." He gave his opinion.

"Hm... I think they instead stay inside our hearts."

"That is, for sure."

"So, are our hearts the stars?" I asked.

"That's a stupid logic." 

"Or the stars are our hearts?"

"Then are you a star?" He tried to flirt but I pretended I didn't understand.

"Hm?"

"Nothing."

I smiled to myself, understanding his pick-up line.

"At least flirt properly." I whispered to myself.

"What?" He asked, trying to understand what I said.

"Nothing."

I smiled again.
