You're just a student with a normal school life.
You weren't a bad student, you were a good one. You could easily pass a test with little review. Ichinan High is your school; you're already in your second year at the age of 17.
But not only were you a decent student, you were also a gamer.
You would pour your time and effort into your games (Genshin, Valorant, COD, Minecraft, Roblox, etc.) You didn't waste any of your money on any of the games, but sometimes you'd get greedy and buy something that you so desperately wanted, but that happens rarely as you don't want to waste all of your savings on a virtual game.
You are currently sitting on your chair with your PC in front of you and your headphones hanging around your nape, while your hands are placed on your mouse and keyboard. You opened valorant and joined a competitive lobby; you were the first one to join with nobody queueing. Not until a player joined, your gaze read their username, 'Chok1, how adorable.' you thought. Soon after, a few other players joined the team, and you clicked 'start'
The loading screen appeared, and you and your team were placed on the other side of the map. The buy phase lasted for 30 seconds, so your team had time to choose their weapons before the game started. You didn't change your weapon, you just sat there idly while your teammates ran around testing their guns.
After 30 seconds, the game started.
Before you moved from your place, your teammates started to move. You messaged in the team chat, 'Let's have a good game' You adjusted the mic on your face, clearing your throat, to see that your teammates started to move; you followed carefully behind.
You turned a corner, leaving your teammates behind. And once you turned another corner, you were met by two opposing players. You shot both of them in the head perfectly, gaining two headshots and the first kill in the game. You continued to go around the map without finding any opposing players in sight, and you turned around to head back to your team. But was unluckily shot in the head by a player far out of your view.
On Nagi's side, he is just calmly playing Valorant. He had his legs crossed on his gaming chair, his headphones connected to his PC, and his microphone in front of him, while his gray eyes were glued to the screen.
He was scouting for the opposing players when suddenly he saw that his teammate, U/N, had killed two opposing team players. And they had just started the game 11 minutes ago. He was surprised by the fast kills, but his teammate died long after.
"Fuck..." he heard, coming from his dead teammate. "Sorry, I died pretty early," they whispered through the mic. Their voice was feminine, so Nagi believes that his teammate is a girl.
On your side, one of your teammates spoke up, "'t's all good."
It came from Chok1.
Your eyes blinked profusely, staring at the side of your screen after Chok1 spoke. You assumed they were a guy, considering how deep their voice was. He then continued to carry the game and carried your team to victory; you were surprised that it ended quickly. You clapped your hands softly. "Nice job," you praised your teammates, who also celebrated through their microphones. But the Chok1 guy didn't say anything.
