A few months into you and Nagi's friendship, you two haven't gone a day without talking to each other. Exchanging 'gm's' and 'gn's' every day is enough for the two of you. You two have also made some unforgettable memories: playing games, trolling people online, voice calls, sleep calls, etc. Though you two haven't met in real life yet, which is a shame, you weren't confident enough to bring it up yet, and neither was Nagi, who knows how awkward it'd get if you two met up in person.

But don't worry, even though Nagi may be a distraction, that doesn't mean that your academic grades aren't failing. You've been somewhat focused on school lately, but you somehow make time for playing games.

Nagi, on the other hand, is maintaining his football career. He's been featured in some newspapers (from what you've heard from him), and to say the least, it's pretty impressive. He's known to be mostly lazy and doesn't bother to listen to class. He's also mostly seen playing on his phone, but every day after school, him and his best friend; Reo, would go out to train on the pitch.

"Hey, I'm already tired, Reo."

"It's time to go home." The white-haired giant, Nagi Seishiro, sat on the grassy pitch with sweat rolling down every inch of his face. Reo Mikage, his best friend, stood his ground. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Just one more for me, Nagi!" Reo clocks his head to his side.

"You're doing more than usual today. How earnest." Said the white-haired boy. "...yeah. because that shitty father of mine said, "Unless you can carry the Japanese national team on your back, I won't acknowledge you.""

The purple-haired boy stretched out his leg to punt the ball into the net with a perfect curve, "That's why both "participating" and "winning" the nationals are my stepping stones!" Reo's shot landed him a goal in the net. 

"Then I'll keep winning and become Japan's representative in the shortest time possible!" Confidence was all over Reo Mikage's face; he had been poised ever since childhood for any challenge ahead of him. That's what makes him so motivated.

"Join me, Nagi! Until we win the World Cup." Nagi adverts his vivid purple eyes to Seishiro. Who just deadpanned from his whole speech "I'm hungry." was all he said. 'And I kinda want to see N/N...'

"Good job today. May I speak with you for a moment, young Master Reo?"

Out of the blue, a rather raspy, mature voice erupted from who-knows-where. The two boys' heads turned around to see Ba-ya, Reo's servant. The old woman in a butler outfit approached the two teenagers with her usual resting face with a soft smile.

"Oh, Ba-ya! What is it?" Reo questions, intrigued by her sudden appearance. "It's a letter from the Japan Football Union, to Mikage Reo-sama." The woman pulls out a letter from her coat, extending her arm out for the purple-haired to clutch onto.

"There was a chance your father would throw this away if he fount it, so I, Ba-ya, hid this to bring with you." Ba-ya whispers to her young Master, Reo was caught off-guard since he wouldn't think his servant would do that. "Really? Thanks..." But he was glad that she did.

"Ah, that—" Nagi opens his bag to search for the similar object that Reo holds. "It was delivered to me too, but I haven't opened it yet." Nagi holds up the letter in his hand. "You too?! Then let's open it together."

The two teenage boys sat down near each other to open the letters given to them, and what lies in the content is... not what they expected.

"A special player training program...?!"

"Seriously?! That's dope!" Reo exclaims, "Ah, it's the same. They didn't go into detail." Nagi was disappointed, to say the least—the complete opposite of Reo's excited demeanor as he read the contents.

"Is it a sudden Japanese national team training camp? Or a U-18 delegation summons..?"

"Eh... I hate stuff like training camps. I wanna play games and take naps instead." Nagi would care less about the whole thing; his life is perfect already: two close friends, decent grades, and a lavish, lazy life.

Reo, being the drama king he is, overreacted to Nagi's words. "What are you saying? This is a big chance! If we make an impact here, it could be the quickest way to join the national team!"

"Hey, Ba-ya-san. Can you make this guy stop?"

"Ho-ho-ho, I can't do that." The woman laughed at the youngling's words, "I've been taking care of young Master Reo ever since he was born, so I can only respect his will."

"...Eh... oh, well. Fine, I'll go for now, but."

"I'll need to... talk to someone."

You and your best friend, Isagi, were still at school since you two were both studying together.

You happened to also buy popsicle's for each other, the light-blue ice-cream was delicious and you could buy millions of these. While you and your blue-eyed friend were sitting on a bench, he spoke up, breaking the silence.

"N/N, I got a letter yesterday after our match, it was inviting me over to a football training camp"

Usually, anything football-related doesn't really catch your attention. But if it's either Nagi or Isagi? You might as well pay more attention than you do in class. "Really? Congrats!" You congratulate him, finishing off the popsicle and throwing the stick in the trash can beside you.

"But—it's kind of sad that you lost your match yesterday, I hope you achieve your dream one day" you gave the boy an illuminated smile, which he appreciated "thanks, N/N."

"Hey, you mentioned that your online friend is a football player, right?" Isagi asks, and you nod, "I might meet him there if he ever gets invited." Isagi chuckles. "Well—if you do, do tell me." You laughed.

"There might be a chance we meet, but I'm not sure."
