We forgot about the farewell to freedom.

Klaus pov:

I opened my eyes.
I was tied up with...I don't even know where and was about to ruin someone's day when I realized my brothers and my fiancee's best friends were standing in front of me.

Kol shot confetti in my face.
"What the hell..?"
"Welcome to your bachelor party buddy."
Damon unlocked me and handed me a drink.
"How did you manage to kidnap me?"
"Hailey helped but now have fun."

I didn't think about it any further and drank my drink in one go.
We were in some club, but it was definitely not in New Orleans or in Mystic Falls, I know it very well there.

"Elijah, where are we?"
"Vegas baby..."
There was everything like in a real Vegas club, strippers, a lot of alcohol, drugs and gambling.
I was sitting on a leather couch, sipping drink after drink, looking at beautiful girls, though none matched my own.
A long-legged blonde came up behind me and seductively sat on my lap.
She was kissing my neck and biting my ear.

I've always enjoyed this kind of thing, but now...I feel different now.
Hailey changed me, gave me back my humanity.
I cupped the blonde's face in my hands and looked into her green eyes.

"Now get up and go make some rich single guy happy. Got it?"
The girl nodded and left.

"Hey bro…what was that? since when do you not like strippers?"
"I don't know brother, something is wrong with me."
"I know what. Hailey, it's turning you into a decent boy."

Elijah tapped me on the shoulder and went on to have fun.
I decided to try my luck with the machines.

Hailey pov:

I woke up in the morning feeling sick to my stomach.
I ran to the bathroom and threw up, Rebekah heard it and came to grab my hair.
Luckily, Klaus was on his bachelor party or he would have worried about me.

"Are you okay?"
Rebekah stroked my back while I held on to the toilet bowl.
"I'm fine. Thank you."
I washed my teeth and face with cold water.
"Let's have breakfast."
Rebekah challenged me and dragged me out of the room.
She suddenly stopped for a moment and looked at me strangely. Her gaze went from my face to my stomach where she stopped.

"What is Bex?"
Her lips formed a small smile as she grabbed my stomach.
"Bex, what the hell are you doing?"
"Hailey can't you hear that?"
"What?"
"Heartbeat…your baby's heartbeat."
I looked at her scared for a moment and then looked down at my stomach.
I put my hands on itand smiled a little.
"Bex, that's not possible."
"It's possible you're…you're pregnant honey."
Tears welled up in my eyes, I don't even know if they were tears of happiness or sadness.
Klaus and I talked about children, but not that we will have them so soon.

"You can call Devina, I want her to do a spell so Klaus and no other vampire can hear my baby's heartbeat I want it to be a surprise."
"Of course I'm going to get her."
In a flash she was gone and back again with a confused Devina.

"What's wrong with you dragging me out of bed at seven o'clock on a Saturday morning...?"
You complained.
"Well there's this thing...I'm pregnant."
She rolled her eyes at me and moved them to my stomach.
“Oh my god…congratulations I'm going to be an aunt." She hugged me tightly along with Bex.

"So what do you need?"
"Could you cast a spell so that no vampire including Klaus can hear the baby's heartbeat? I want it to be a surprise for Klaus and I know your chatty husband would tell him."

"I have to check the grimoire first, but yes, I'll do it for you."
She hugged me once more and went to the room for gtimoar.

"A hair growth spell..no, an animal fur dye spell..no, a diaper changing spell..no. God, who knew such strange spelld existed?"

"Who knew a tribrid would be pregnant?"
"You're right."
She kept scrolling for a while and finally stopped at one page.
"I have it, a spell to hide an unborn child from a vampire or other creature with supernatural hearing."
Dev started using magic, it shook a bit. When she was done, she took the herbs from the table and put them in the bracelet.
"Take this, those herbs are enchanted, no one will hear your baby as long as you wear them."

"Thanks....but could you check my baby with some kind of magical ultrasound?"
"I know this spell by heart, lie down here on the bed."
I slowly lied down and rolled up my t-shirt under my breasts.
Devina placed her palm on my stomach and started the spell again.
Rebekah sat next to me and held my hand.
I was nervous, I couldn't imagine what the child would be like.
"Oh god Hailey…"
Devina quickly pulled her hand away from my stomach.
"What, what's wrong?"
"Technically nothing with the child, but you do realize that you and Nik have fathered a child together and the combination of two of the most powerful beings on the planet means that your child will have such power that if he doesn't learn to control it properly, it will destroy us all."

I looked at her in shock and smiled a little.
"Well..she'll probably be like her daddy."
"She?"
"I have a feeling it's going to be a girl."
Devina calmed down a bit.
"We'll teach her to control what she'll need is an ancestor in a family of original vampires and witches."
"You're right it will be fine."
"Always and forever...family."
We all hugged when Amy entered the room.
"Breakfast is…um? what's going on?"
We all cried and hugged each other.
"Just…just join."
She came to us and joined in the hug.
"Okay, let's have breakfast, I'm getting hungry."

time shift

Klaus pov:

It was evening and I wanted to go home, I missed Hailey.
God, what is happening to me?
"Hey guys, I'm going home, you can enjoy yourself here, thanks for the bachelorette party."
"Come on...bro what's wrong with you?"
"Trust me, I'd like to know too."

I didn't have a car here, but that would have taken unnecessarily long.

I quickly ran to our house.
I found the girls sitting in the living room talking, but when I walked in they quieted down.
They were all looking at me and my sister signaled me to disappear.
"Fine...well, I'm going to lie down."
I went upstairs and headed to the bathroom. I showered and took off my clothes.
I only wore sweatpants for the night.
I jumped into bed and rolled onto my side.

Hailey pov:

We were sitting in the living room talking about my baby when Klaus walked in.
We all fell silent and looked at him.

"Fine...well I'm going to lie down."
We talked for a while more when I decided it was time to go see him.

I washed myself and went to bed. she only wore my pink shorts.
We both sleep shirtless.
Klaus was already asleep so I tried to go quietly so as not to wake him up.
I lied next to him and carefully kissed him on the lips.
"I love you."
I whispered quietly.
"Me too, love."
He said in a sleepy voice.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."
I put one hand in his hair and scratched the back of his head.

"It's okay, love."
I turned my back on him and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
He had one hand on my belly and I put mine next to his and fell asleep contentedly.
