It's been 2 months since then. I miss my sister and my fellow brothers. Well that's what I consider them as. I have 18 brothers and only 1 sister.

I was disrupted and hurt when I saw the infomercial for the first time about the ten escapees. I was with this couple who found me in their shack. Where I fell from the rocket launcher I was put in by one of my brothers. They welcomed me home despite the ruined roof of the shack. They still thought I was just a kid of 10 years who didn't know much but I understood most of the things that they said about me.

"Poor child, her skin is rough, what happened to her" Hilda said. She was married to Hank who also lived in there.

"We need to take her in before the gov' comes here" he said.

They ran me into their farmhouse and about 2 months later a commercial came on about the missing Orbicals.

"We unfortunately report to you that 10 inedible fruit are roaming around the United Three. We encourage you to please bring these creatures to us urgently if found. Nine of them are males and one is female. Their skin is impenetrable so please don't attempt to attack them. The female is the most dangerous. As you can see we've already captured one of them that tried to run away. This is footage of the dangers that this and the other female have caused. They have left a total of forty scientist dead. They are not our friends yet scientist still want to make an effort of changing them into righteous and civil humans of society. We appreciate your cooperation." I stopped breathing after that.

My sister looked bruised as if she was beaten  with a bat. Losing feeling in my legs I fell and tears fell from my eyes but not one scream came from my mouth. Though I desperately wanted to shout "ASSHOLE".

"Honey, are you alright? Please don't tell me you're believing all that nonsense that they saying 'bout you. Listen to me you here? They some foolish men talking on that screen. Saying mere children, let alone little girls would do such a horrible thing", Hilda said.

Yet we did. And nobody has to know. Are you ok, Sis? I know it maybe the dumbest question to ask now that I saw you on TV looking so depressed. Just know that now that I know where you are I will prepare myself for the worst and make sure that I'll save you this time. I won't let them win no matter how long it takes. With that thought I fell asleep in Hilda's arms.

Some years later,I was doing chores with Hilda on the barn.

"Hilda!?" I shouted.

"Oh dearest call me mama. What's on you're mind child? You've had that face ever since we got you out of the shack." she said as she chuckled at her little joke. I laughed a little as well but there was a reason as to why I looked so serious.

"How did you react when you heard about me and the others getting tested on?" as I asked the question her smile disappeared and turned into a face of sadness. She unconsciously dropped an egg from her basket that she had just gotten from the chicken coop.

"Girlie it's time I told you something." she said as she directed me to sit on Hank's hammock with her sitting beside me shortly after.

"Once upon a time child, I gave birth to what they call an "inedible fruit"."

My eyes widened. When was I gonna to hear this.

"Oh sorry 'bout that. I knew it was rude to call y'all by that name. I'll say Orbicals then. But to answer your question, well, you can only imagine how I reacted when they gave the news out." she said with a shaky voice.

I was still shocked and a tear came out from the corner of my eye.

"What had happen-" I stopped when my heard my voice crack.

"Let's say it ended badly" She pulled her sleeve up and I saw four huge holes in her arm.  Tears uncontrollably fell down my face.

"They said that the damage was so bad that they couldn't fill the holes in my arms without proper payment. 180,000 dollars they said and an extra 4,000 for resistance. I said forget it and patch it up. Hank wanted to pay for it even if it was too much. I said if they don't respect what comes out of my body they might as well not care about what's on my body. So they patched it up and I went home without my child. Does that answer your question?" she said a little sternly.

With rivers flowing out my eyes I said "Yes mama!"

"Oh dear," she came over to hug me. "Sorry again. I just get so worked up every time I remember that awful day that they took my Ty away from me. Looks like we both had losses of our loved ones. Where did this world go wrong?"

For the rest of that morning, we hugged and cried and eventually slept on Hank's hammock. It's gonna be hard leaving this couple. I've gotten too attached. But I wouldn't want to ruin this moment not even for a second.
