Episode Eight: A Monster of Interest

Opening Scene:

Lagoona Blue sits in her bedroom putting on her makeup.

LAGOONA (V.O.): Today is the worst day of my life...

She waves her dad Wade Blue goodbye and leaves the door.

LAGOONA (V.O.): But I have to face my fears... If you haven't heard! Who am I kidding, the prime minister of Australia heard... I betrayed a friend to save my own fin and I deeply regret it.

Lagoona gets to the gate of Monster High.

LAGOONA (V.O.): I have to apologize to Draculaura.

She walks to the front entrance of the school.

LAGOONA (V.O.): I mean... she would understand why I did it, right?

She opens the door and staring back at her is Draculaura.

LAGOONA (V.O.): How long do vampires hold grudges?

(INTRO):

Scene 1:

Lagoona walks over to Draculaura, as Draculaura walks towards over to Lagoona.

LAGOONA (V.O.): Oh my ghoul... She's walking towards me! Does she look angry...Shit! I don't know.

The girls walk up to each other.

LAGOONA: Draculaura... I-I

Draculaura cuts Lagoona off by giving her a hug.

DRACULAURA: It's okay, I know the truth now! Frankie and Clawdeen filled me in the details.

LAGOONA: I just wanted to say I'm sorry! I shouldn't have done what I did.

DRACULAURA: It's my fault! I should have just been honest with my best friend about dating her brother.

LAGOONA: How are you feeling... I heard you and Clawd broke up. Do you want to talk about it?

DRACULAURA: No thanks! I've gotten that out of my system.

Both of the girls begin to walk together.

DRACULAURA: Besides, it's even worse talking about it as I will obsess over it.

LAGOONA: What about if you see him?

DRACULAURA: I can't right now.

LAGOONA: Well, he's heading this way.

Clawd Wolf walks past Draculaura alongside Heath Burns without looking at her.

LAGOONA: Well, that was awkward.

DRACULAURA: Yeah... But it had to be done. Our relationship was built on bad spirits and secrets. And anyways, I also felt it would be too awkward for Clawdeen right now. It didn't feel fair to do this to her.

Clawdeen Wolf walks over.

CLAWDEEN: I see my two favorite ghouls are BFF's again.

They all smile and have a group hug. The bell rings.

DRACULAURA: Shit! I have to get Mr. Rotter's class before he gives me another detention for tardiness.

Draculaura leaves.

LAGOONA: How are you feeling?

CLAWDEEN: To be honest, I just want things to go back to where they were. I'm more mad at Spectra for what she did to us... She tried to tear us apart!
