It was late at night, a bright moon was shining high in the sky, so bright that the stars were not shining along side it.
A young teen girl was sitting on her bed, it was quite, eerily quite, she went to stand up from her bed, the floor underneath her creaked and groaned as she made her way to her window.
She quietly lifted the glass open, allowing the cold air to softly float by her.
Now or never
She thought to herself, she looked back into the dark room, she knew she had to leave this place, but her friends words were ringing in her head.
"Are you sure that is what you want to do?"
"Its not going to be easy."
"What are you gonna do when you're gone?"
"Are you really going to leave us?"
She sat herself on the window ledge, looking down at the grassy floor before her.
"I'm sorry, Amy, Aaron." She whispers before sliding down the building and rolling on the ground with a thud.
She hissed slightly as she stood up.
"That wasn't graceful."
She hushed to herself, quickly made her way forward into the nearby woods that surrounded the Orphanage. Once she felt she was deep enough in, she slowed her pace down to a small walk, leaves and twigs snapping under her feet, owls hooting in the distance and sounds of small animal scurrying near her.
"Sure is lively at night." She spoke, albeit jittery as she held her arms togeather, huddling her small jacket as tightly as she can on her small frame.
She heaves a heavy breath, watching it as it reflect in the moon light, but the sudden sound of other twigs snapping other than from her, had her tense up.
She heard growls, low quite growls but she still heard them. Her already frozen skin felt more cold as the hairs stood up on her arms. She slowly turned her head around, seeing nothing but dozen of yellow reflecting eyes staring down at her.
"Oh, great." She hushed. She tried to take a step back but she couldn't find it in her to move, her feet feeling glued to the forestey surface.
Not long till they jumped on her, her fight or flight response kicking in sending her in automatic flight, one managed to grab ahold of her jacket, tearing it off of her body, desperately trying to set herself free from the hungry beast. She darted in another direction not bothering where she was going once she managed to get out of the hold.
She heard them gaining up on her, and not before she could do anything she felt a freezing wet surface splashing around her.
She struggled, trying to get any kind of contraction in the liquid surround here, every movement she felt it her body going weak, the only thought she crossed her mind, before it all faded was her two friends that she left behind.

Beep, beep beep-
A tired looking teen girl looked out from her bed as she held her phone in her hand limply.
"One more day till the weekend!" She spoke aloud slamming her phone back down on the twin size bed.
She slowly rose herself up from the blanket before falling back down on the mattress, then a knock came from the door and was opened by a older looking man, who came stalking in.
"Rise and shine." He spoke standing at the edge of her bed.
"I don't want to rise or shine." She complained out.
He chuckled before grabbing a hold of the plain blue blanket and yanked it off of her.
"To bad, you need to get up for school, and you can't be late."
"Sooo..." The girl complained sitting back up, sleepily glaring at the man.
"Come on, get ready Eva, I'm going to take you to school and I'm not going to wait too long for you."
Eva looked at the man with her mouth agaped as he walked away and stood in the doorway.
"No dad, I'm not going to let you take me to school on that motorcycle, I'm walking there. Besides don't you need to get ready for work and get Anne to hers or something." She says getting out of bed grabbing her back pack and placing it on her bed.
He shrugs a bit.
"Possibly."
He only smiles as she sighed distraughtly walking passed him as he patted her on her back.
That week for Eva went by as normal, wake up, go to school, hang out with her father and Anne, and go to bed. But, it soon came crashing down for her, her father's relationship with Anne went up in flames, they had to move out into a run down apartment and he lost his job as reporter, Eva could tell he was not dealing with all of these things easily.
"Dad, you need to stop moping around." She says leaning on the back of the couch looking down at her disheveled father.
"I know, I know, I just-"
"Its fine, I know you're still upset, but I can guarantee that if you were able to get pass mom after she left, than you can with Anne as well. Heck maybe you two can reconcile and remain friends in somepoint." She say tilting her head at him.
He only just looked up at her as she shrug, she walked away into the small kitchen that was placed in the living room, and knowing him as she does, she went over grabbed two drinks from the fridge and handing one to him, as she took a sip from her soda.
"Thank you, and I love you." He croaked out watching as his daughter walked into her room.
"Love ya too you big oaf." She replied back.
3 months went by just the same, her father mopeing around, drinking sometimes, and trying to find a new job, but at the moment the only income came from Eva as she had to work to support her father. But, as the months went by something new came stalking to her doorstep.
"Wait- I have a SISTER now?!"
