Pack Mentality part 2

Bowling

Lydia feels somebody grab her from behind and grins thinking it was Gabriel. But hears an annoying voice in her ear.

"Do you even know how to bowl? You have to..." asks Jackson.

"What the hell? Back away from my girlfriend, Jackson" says Gabriel as he arrives.

"Fine. All I was doing was trying to tell her how to bowl" says Jackson.

"Lydia doesn't want you mansplaining it to her. She's an amazing bowler and doesn't need your help" states Gabriel as he kisses her on her cheek.

She grins up at him and says" You know I can defend myself right".

"I'm sorry. I just can't stand that he treats you as if your stupid, because you're probably the smartest person I know. Now show everybody here how it's done " says Gabriel as he seats down to watch her.

With his encouraging words in her ears Lydia throws the bowling ball striking all of them.

"Whooo. Thats my beautiful girlfriend right there" shouts Gabriel as Lydia settles in between his legs smirking.

Allison stands up and gets all off of them.

"Somebody brought their A game" says Lydia smiling at Allison.

"Well done Allison. Seems like we need to step up are game Scott" says Gabriel as Scott watches him.

"Good job. Seems we do" says Scott.

When they all hear all the pins get strikes by Jackson.

"Whoo. You're up, McCall" says Jackson as he sits down next to Gabriel wrapping an arm around the seat.

"You can do it, Scott" hypes Allison.

"Come on Scott" says Gabriel.

Scotts bowling ball goes down the gutter.

Jackson starts laughing.

"Jackson? Stop being an asshole for once" demands Gabriel pushing Jacksons arm off him.

"Jackson. Mind shutting up?" asks Allison.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm just flashing back to the words "I'm a great bowler." says Jackson.

"Maybe he just needs a Iittle warm-up" says Allison.

"Yeah, maybe he just needs the kiddy bumpers" says Jackson laughing with Lydia joining in.

"Lydia. Seriously" says Gabriel as he shakes his head at Scott as an apology.

Lydia instantly stops as she turns slightly to wrap her arms around Gabriel whispering apologies.

"Just... Just aim for the middle" advises Allison.

"How about you aim for anything except for the gutter?" responds Jackson.

"Let him concentrate. Scott just don't think and strike" says Gabriel smiling comforting.

It happens again Scott doesn't get a strike or even hit one pin down.

" Oh! Oh, great job, McCall. Man, you are a pro" mocks Jackson.

"Don't worry. We only just started" reassures Allison patting his leg.

Gabriel smiles softly over at Scott.

"How about I go? I know I probably won't do as good as you guys but Jackson this is all about having fun and not a competition" says Gabriel as he picks up a ball.

Gabriel pretends not to do as well. To make Scott feel but as he only hits a couples of pins.

"Well there's always next time" says Gabriel as he sits back down and Lydia sitting back on his lap.

"Why did you have to do that. You could have gotten all of them" whispers Lydia into his ear.

"Because its not all about winning and he's my best friend and he doesn't deserve to feel bad about not hitting any" whispers back.

Scott goes again. Allison goes up to help. Gabriel goes straight after.

"Image its Jacksons head you're about to hit if what Allisons said doesn't help" whispers Gabriel as he goes back to sit wrapping his arms tightly around Lydia knocking Jacksons arm off him again.

Scott gets a strike.

"Whoooooo. Go Scott" shouts Gabriel laughing.

"What did you guys say to him" asks Lydia.

"Gave him something to think about" responds Allison.

"I said imagine its Jacksons head" whispers Gabriel to Lydia.

Lydia laughs loudly.

"You ok there Jackson" asks Gabriel cockily.

"That is seriously amazing" says Allison as Scott strikes again and again.

" Jackson, how many strikes is that?" asks Allison.

"It's six in a row" states Jackson annoyed.

"Something just clicked, I guess" shrugs Scott.

" Maybe it's natural talent" says Allison.

" I could use some natural talent. Mind helping me with that Scott? Since Gabriel won't help me" says Lydia.

"Im sorry Lyds is that what you want to hear. But I will stand by my decision" says Gabriel.

"No, you're good. Go for it" says Scott as he looks blankly at her as he thought she was flirting on him thinking how could she too Gabriel.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence" says Lydia with squinted eyes.

"Hey, I'II help" says Jackson getting up .

"Slow your roll and sit your ass back down" says Gabriel with his arm out whacking into Jackson.

"How about I just try this on my own?" says Lydia looking at Jackson with a glare.

She gets a strike.

"Whooo Baby. Well done" shouts Gabriel.

"I think I'm getting the hang of it" states Lydia as she sits herself back into Gabriels arm smirking.

"That was sort of perfect form" says Allison astonished.

"Was it?" shrugs Lydia.

"Maybe you should stop pretending to suck just for Gabriels benefit. It seems like he doesn't care if you win or lose and he's very supportive of you already" whispers Allison.

"Trust me, I do plenty of sucking just for his benefit but not things like this" whispers Lydia back.

Stiles climbs through his window.

"Seriously. What is with you and climbing through windows. My mom is literally on the night shift and my sisters are at my dads. You know this yet you climb through my window" asks Gabriel.

"Because it makes me seem cool. I bet Lydia doesn't climb through your window" says Stiles as he leans awkwardly on his bed.

"She has a few times but I mostly climb through hers" says Gabriel as he lays beside Stiles.

"I miss this. Talking to you late at night. Before you started dating Lydia. Hanging out without Scott just the both of us" murmurs Stiles sadly.

"I'm sorry Stiles. Sometimes I miss the similar times but then I look around and see her. Knowing if I didn't go to that one lacrosse party I wouldn't have got to know her better and fall in love with her" admits Gabriel as he smiles softly before going to sleep.
