3rd Of December|Xavier Thorpe

Y/n's pov:

"Morning, Y/n"

Enid came into our dorm, wearing Ajax's hoodie.

"You already have a hoodie? It's like 7 am"

I burried my face into my pillow.

"Don't be so blue, maybe you will get one too"

Enid walked up to my bed.

"Now come on, we have to get ready for school"

She dragged me out of the bed.

"I want to stay in the bed"

"You can't stay in bed, Y/n. It's 3rd of December, remember? "

"And what about it?"

"We have volunteer jobs today."

Later that day, all the students gathered in the schools yard, so miss Weems could have her speech.

"All students will report for their volunteer jobs at 10 AM sharp, followed by community lunch at 1:00pm. As you know, this year Outreach Day culminates in a very special event. The dedication of a new memorial statue in the town square, which will also include performances by Nevermore students. "

"I am so excited!"

Enid giggled.

"Why today"

I groaned.

"You should be proud of the school you're in, because some of us can't"

Wednesday appeared next to us.

"As representatives of our school, I trust you will all put your best face forward"

Weems claped her hands together as the students started talking to each other.

"I hope i'll get same job as Ajax"

Enid sqweaked.

"And maybe you'll get the same one as Xavier"

Enid started teasing me.

"Don't be ridiculous, Enid. You know that I don't like him. Not anymore"

I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever you say"

She shrugged and grabbed two letters from Miss Thronhill.

"But I can tell that Xavier likes you, like, a lot"

She handed me one of the two letters.

"I don't care if he likes me, I'm not looking for relationship right now"

I stated while opening my letter.

"Yes! I got Pilgrim World!"

Enid gasped.

"I have natural people skills and a love of performing, but you know that already, don't you?"

She grabbed my letter.

"What did you get?"

Her face lit up when she saw I also got Pilgrim world.

"We're going to spend the whole day together!"

She pulled me into a thight hug.

"Slow down Enid, I woke up few minutes ago."

When she pulled away, I noticed that she was staring at something, or someone behind me.

I turned around to see it was Xavier.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"What job did you get?"

He asked.

I took a quick glance at Enid before replying.

"Pilgrim world"

I showed him my letter.

"Xavier! You wouldn't guess what I've got!"

Ajax yelled into our direction.

He looked at Ajax and then back at me.

"I'll be at the coffee shop, you can come by"

He winked at me before leaving.

"Oh my god"

Enid grabbed my shoulders.

"He winked at you!"

He started silently yelling.

This is going to be an long day..

"This is a long day"

I walked up to the coffee shop's counter.

"I'm glad you're here, want a coffee?"

Xavier leaned onto counter.

"Yes, one f/c please"

"On it"

He started making the coffee.

"So, how's your job going? "

"Coldly"

I said.

Xavier looked at me with a confused expression on his face.

"It's freezing cold outside, and I only have this"

I pointed at the dress we had to wear.

"I might have a solution for that"

He wiped his hands into his apron and walked to the back of the store, leaving me alone at the counter.

Few moments later he came back, holding the purple hoodie he usually wore.

"Here, you can have this"

He handed me his hoodie, smiling at me.

"Are you sure? You wear this one all the time"

"Yes I am"

I gave him a warm smile and started to put on his hoodie.

"I bet you will look pretty in it"
