----Bad's pov

I woke up to no one in the room. The door was shut and locked. I assumed skeppy went out to the town for fun, so I shrugged it off. I hid my horns and walked out to the town. I wanted to know where skeppy was, but one thought ruled all; how did Paula meet Yana? The town had a festival going on, Something for the starting of the Country. I weaved my way through crowds of people to Paulas and Yana's Apartment Complex. When I reached their apartment I heard a song I never heard of...It went along the lines of " You are, my fire" Followed by really off-key singing. I thought Paula was in a professional choir, why she be this off key? I knocked on their door and the music immediately shut off.

 Paula stepped out " I'm really sorry Sarah for the music, but yo-" She looked up to see me and not Sarah? " Oh bad! Hi! Sorry thought you were my building owner!" She smiled and waved me in. " If you're looking for Yana, she's out with her friends for the festival." I step inside, she has all the curtains up and windows up. She turned back on the music but turned it quieter. "Soo...whatcha here for? Asking where your boyfriend went?" I felt my ears going redder "HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND" She laughed " ANYWAYS, I wanted to ask how you and yana met." She stopped laughing and looked around. " I can't tell you that.." she sounded sad. I walked over to her and looked her in the eyes. "You can, i'll keep whatever you say hidden, like you did for me being a demon." She sighed "well....We met from a different fire.

 I don't think the royals knew this but there was another really deadly fire 2 years ago." She looked away " I almost died from that, just like the one when I was little. If it wasn't for yana and you.....I wouldn't be here..." She looked at her sleeves, which were longer then usually. I looked at her sleeves, she tugged at them and sighed. "I-I'm sorry- I shouldn't asked.." She shook her head, saying no. She stopped shaking her head and I saw she was near crying, I must of accidentally triggered some memory in here. I hugged her, being careful of her arms. Immediately she started sobbing, hard.

 Why didn't the guards or even the king and queen get notified about the fire? Roughly 4 minutes later she stopped sobbing and pushed herself away from me. " I'm ok now, thanks for..hugging me...I'm sure you want me to show the burn..." she sighed and started rolling up her sleeve. It was nasty, it was a big black splotch that looked like solid lava. She yanked her sleeve back down and held her arm. " I best be off, skeppy might be hunting for me by now, nice to talk to you!" I smiled at her as I walked down the hall. Yana passed by me, and gave me the 'if-your-hurt-her-i-will-obilterate-you' look. I smirked and walked back out. I jumped up to skeppys room, expecting him to be there, but he wasn't.

 He was still out, and no sign of him coming back while I was visiting Paula. I shrugged it off again while flopping onto skeppys bed. Maybe he was out walking or in the town enjoying the festivities. I didn't fall asleep, I just sat there looking at the ceiling. Where was skeppy? Did he go to the festival without me? Well shlatt was gone but there could be other guards just like him. I got out of bed now I this feeling I had to look for him. I went back down the balcony and ran to the festival maybe someone saw him. I ask several people in the festival, but no one had not seen skeppy. I was getting worried now skeppy was nowhere to be seen after all the things that happened. Kidnap. That was the only word that came to mind but what if I was right what if the guards kidnapped him. I was sweating and my demon form was about to burst out.

  Where is skeppy? Did something happened to him? is he actually ok? I walked to the castle maybe someone there knew where skeppy was. Maybe. My steps started to speed up to the point I was running. I looked everywhere in case Skeppy was just having fun in the festival. He was nowhere to be found, no one had seen him, I asked guards all around and no one had heard from him. I ran somewhere because my demon form bursted out. I had to hide for now, until I got my nerves under control.

----Zak's pov

I was close to the tree house. I wanted a peaceful place. Today there was a festival and the noise was gonna get louder once they got closer to the castle. I was almost at the tree house when I saw something sparkling in the distance not next to the tree house but the opposite way. I started walking towards the sparkling thing when my gut told me no. I looked back to see what's going on, nothing was. I started walking towards the thing again. I bent down to see something shiny and blue. A diamond! I haven't seen one this up. 

My mom says that I have something that makes me allergic to diamonds but how does she even know that? They never brought me close to a diamond reaction! I looked around and grabbed it, then made a run back to the tree-house. I admire the diamond, nothing actually happened, I was normal and everything. Why would the kingdom be called the diamond kingdom if there are no diamonds? Mom didn't even have diamonds in her dress, the crown or her accessories. My mom told me that no one else had the same allergy I had, but I could tell she was only hiding something. My dad usually wanted diamonds in the kingdom but my mom wouldn't let him. She said it was bad for my health but he didn't actually care.

 In my dad's room there used to be a big diamond but I never got close to it. I only passed by the door. Once it got lost, well that is what my mom said but I saw her giving it to a poor person. It was a good decision to give the diamond away or their kids would have died of hunger. I look at the diamond again and it is so shiny and blue. (Ik diamonds are not blue but they are here) I loved the color blue. It is actually my favorite color. I keep on touching the diamond. I had this urge to bite it but I held back. Why did I have the urge to bite it? I would never tell. I smirked as it gleamed in the sun, blue sparkles erupted everywhere.

 The diamond started glowing as the sound of the festival rang through the entire city. It freaked me out, making me drop it. As soon as it hit the ground it shattered into tiny pieces. The pieces glowed, shimmering in the sunlight. It was really hot today, but a lot of people wore traditional attire. The diamond started glowing really bright, unnaturally bright. It elevated and circled around me, getting closer. I felt the diamond fragments brush my hands. I freaked out and when I was going to scream, the fragments stabbed into my thigh. I immediately felt tired, and something formed on my thigh. I tried to look at my thigh, to see what was forming, but I fell the the floor in pain. I felt tears stream down my face.

 I screamed as loud as I could, nothing helped get rid of the pain. I got a look at my arms and blue splotches where starting to form. I was horrified, was this the allergy my mom warned me about? Am I going to die of an allergic reaction? I started sobbing, as the world slowly faded to black, still feeling everything that was happening. I laid my hand out and softly said " I love you bad...I hope you will be happy.." I coughed up a little bit more blood and the world went black. With everything happening, I expected to be back into the suffering void. I should've went with bad here. Even in the darkness again I felt everything, the throbbing of the formations the diamond gave me. I could still move my hand, a little.

 Everything felt fuzzy. But instead of the black void, I saw what looked like a memory of mine. Integrated in the diamond. A wildly happy younger version of me. But something was in the background...A child with horns. I couldn't see who it was because everything went black, just like the void. I just curled into a ball and awaited death but this time I could still feel the pain. I should have listened to my mother.
