" Josh, are you ready? " Bruce asked his friend, pulling a black shiesty mask over his face.

" Of course. You told me how we would do this last night. " Josh sighed, pulling the black hoodie down his chest.

" Just follow me, once this gets done I can finally rest my nerves. " Bruce took out his phone, checking it one last time before placing it in his back pocket.

He made sure that this would be done late at night, during the daytime was too oblivious anyway. Late at night was a better suggestion.

Kariya huffed, cupping the glass of dry red wine in her hand. She had it filled to the brim, it was a stressful day for her.

She took a quick sip, placing it down on her table. She had a few candles lit, the aroma ringing throughout the ambiance of her apartment.

All of a sudden, the music stopped. Followed along, the lights were shut off as well. " What just occurred? I could've sworn the lights were just on. " Kariya spoke, slightly pulling the blanket off of her.

She heard a noise in the back, snapping her head towards her bedroom door. She stood up slowly, letting the blanket drape off of her.

" Hello? Anybody there? " Kariya was terrified, she never experienced something like this. Especially on her off days.

There was no reply, just a faint creak on the floorboards. Another sound came from behind her, and she turned around quickly.

Nothing, just the sound of her candlelight flickering and the gust of cold wind roaming through the area. It was quite cold outside for this.

" Maybe I just need to go to sleep.. " Kariya spoke, she was quite exhausted tonight. She stayed up finishing an email.

She turned back around, and there stood a black figure standing in her hallway. Kariya jumped, shocked as she couldn't find the right words to speak.

She couldn't move it all, it was like her feet were glued down to the floor. Fear was her facial expression, it was written all over her face.

" Who are you? Get the fuck out of my apartment! " She shouted in a whisper, the figure just stood there patiently.
