Life was so unfair sometimes, huh? There is always a border between good and evil. The border itself is called justice. Although, what would happen if this border is non-existened? Would good and evil melt or overpower themselves? Is the light of hope strong against despair of depression. Sometimes it happenes to the ones who deserved it the less.

And maybe, today is it where it happenes to you.

Y/N took a walk to the playground like any other day. The shimmering glimmer held their eyes up like spirits in the wind. It was so memorable. However, now it all remains like was a nightmare. Something to be forgotten and locked up - key thrown away to the rats. No words could describe the sorrow a lonley child goes through.

Luckily, a nice gentleman found you.

He took awarness of your apperance. It shook him to the core how desperate you were to go home. Such a miracle that a Smiler or Hound slashed you neither. Aiden is only a guide, a helper for Wanderes throughout the Backrooms. He doesn't know the exit here sadly. He's not meant to be.

No prayers hear gods of such kind in this realm. God is non-existened in a place like this. Y/N began to lose hope; hope of anybody to save them. Care for them. Love them. It's not like they didn't get it as much as they claimed their home in the Frontrooms, no. It's now a ressurance; a wisp among the shadows, ready to hold your hand in the cold. Otherwise, death would await you.

But he secretly heard your prayers in this yellow abyss.

Y/N shrieked away from the man in a bank suit. It caused hin to flinch in emberassment. Aiden didn't want you to cry, nor to yelp in fear. A child should br happy in his eyes. And somebody like you is not welcome in the Backrooms. You should go where you left off. No offence, but he doubts how you can survive such an dishonoring realm.

He gently streched his hand out for you to shake. ,,Hi, I'm Aiden! And you are?" His question seemed to calm the small kid just a bit. A small smile between tired tears emerged, yet vanished as quick as it came. ,,Nobody seems to look for you?", Aiden continued. ,,Maybe I can assist you to look for them too?"

Y/N was cautious; no matter how desperate they were, they couldn't trust no one here. To Aiden it was no surprise to see the litte one turn away in a scoff. It quiet hurt in the gut, but ut was understandable.

He wondered: "How can he earn the trust of the child?" Maye be rational? Compassionate? He had to figure something out - fast. He feels the piercing gaze of every entity nearby and can't, can't let anything happen to them.
Despite meeting them for a moment, he felt some sort of responsibility for them.

He streched his humanoid hand gently to the little one. His hand flinvhed a bit as the child tried to hurry away from the stranger. ,,I know you don't trust me. I'm a stranger after all.", he admited silently it to Y/N. ,,But I don't just want you wait here and let anything else come for you." And for an eternity, Aiden managed to recieve a response from the kid. ,,What "anything else"?"

Now that was a tough choice Aiden had to make. He doesn't want to manipukate the kid in a way of letting them feel more fear than now. The situation was cooling down and the humanoid entity doesn't want to considerate it. Otherwise, it could lead to a bond where only he has a control and protect the child on their paths, but that was such morbid for him - it would be damn out of his nature, it shook him to the core.

The cameraman explained calmly: ,,There are others like me. Some of then are not very friendly." Y/N raised an eybrow, no tears threaten to fall anymore as the former ones dry out. ,,What do they do?", they asked innocently. ,,They like to steal a lot.", Aiden replied sheepishly. In his mind he begged to just drop the topic.

How about no?

,,What do they steal?", the little one continued asking.

Bruh.

Aiden stuttered over his words, not really performing a full sentence. However, a brilliant idea struck his hardware. ,,They steal away naughty children, but do not worry!" The camera made a ridiculous position as if he was cosplaying a knight and holding a sword. Smol Y/N giggled at the sight. ,,I'm here to protect you! Those beasts can't stand a chance against me!", he exaggerated with pride.

Suddenly, the little held a horrified expression. ,,There!", they pointed in the dark corner as they witnessed non-human movements. Aiden turned quickly and panicked as soon as he knew what emerged from nowhere.

A hound; growling hungrily, prey-stalking. It's slow steps haunt these halls and scratch the carpet beneath. Usually, Wanderers would consider Aiden as a friendly and kind entity. Many not know how dangerous and protective he can turn. Little know that he has weapons too - a taser mostly.

The cameraman stood there like a coloumn - tall, protective, determited. He gribbed his taser tightly, waited patiently for the hound to move from it's spot. Even though Aiden has no eyes, his aura has quiet the effect to someone, or something, if they try to interfere his protective nature towards Wanderers.

The hound seethed at Aiden and he took a threating step closer. The entity wouldn't budge, so the humanoid entity just shot it with elictricity. The creature screetched and retreated from it's original plan.

Aiden huffed relieved, but worry lasted in his breath. He dreaded you feared him now from his actions. Yet it all calmed down as he heard you giggles. ,,That was awesome!", the kid yelled happily. ,,Are you Flash?" Aiden perplexly put back his taser in his belt. ,,Who is Flash?", he questioned clueless. ,,Ah! Nevermind! You're coller than I thought!" If Aiden had a face, he would smile.

It's in his nature to help. And now he felt more proud than ever.
