Blue finds out you're missing
-
There was a noticeable eerieness. Blue tapped his pen on the table repeatitly, sittinf in his chair silly with his legs resting on the table full of laptops. His mask held and epxression - not the usual frowing one. It was more like a mix of nervousness and uncomfortableness(?). No matter what the Backrooms had in store for all of them, Partypoopers were used to it. So why is he feeling this dread; the opposite of faith, awaiting the inevitable.
Blue stopped flicking the poor pen and held it in his hand meancingly. He examined it carefully to distract himself. His eyes grew thin as he snapped out of his daze and the pieces of plastic fell onto his lap. His grib was that tight? He hadn't noticed, but it haunted him afterwards like a ghost. Something was wrong - definitly, but what?
Out of nowhere, another one of his kind entered the room Blue sat in. ,,Who's shift is it today?", they asked without greeting. Not looking at them, Blue explained: ,,The sarge had agreed to spend the entire day. A quarter of it they wanted to train Y/N." The Partypooper walked over to a desk, on it is a paper taped onto it. ,,Ah, so today I'm next. Where's Y/N actually? I haven't seen them since."
...
"Where is Y/N actually?", a voice in Blue's head repeated. It emphasized the word "is" so hauntingly, it made his stomach drop in disgust. The shattered pencil fell from his gloved hands. He stood up in a rush and sprinted outside of his secure base. He goes off to a hunting spree alone; nobody shall follow him or guide him anyhow. It's just him, his weapon and the urge to find you. He knew it. He fucking knew it.
The first place he tried to look for you was, of course, your room. Furthermore, of how fast his legs could carry him, it made him almost crash against your doors and probably break them too like the pencil. The stomped them open with his foot, only to witness you gone. "You're gone...", he said himself in his head. With that, he panicked; his breathing became more rapid and uneven. He felt unstable, barely able to focus.
,,Dude, calm down. They're probably just fine on their own.", somebody spoke behind them. Blue turned, just to find the one Partypooper who explained him Y/N's whereabouts a few minutes ago. ,,And what if they are outside? Outside of our secure area? When was the last time somebody heard of them?" Blue's friend expressed an annoyed face with his mouth down. They extented their arm so their sleeve rolled up a bit to show their watch. Their feature held anxiety in them.
,,What?", demanded Blue to know. ,,It's- It's over 3 hours...", the other Partypooper murmured. That was it for Blue. He ran past his colleague and aimed straight for the portal where you where last seen. Adrenaline held his aching legs and racing thoughts at bay, as his lungs begged for a break. However, nothing stopped him. Nothing could stop him. He must now where you are. He had to. The feeling he got when he would see you on your own. Alone in danger. No. He can't think of that now.
He yeeted himself through a portal, weapon in hand and ready. Blue stumbled over his foot as he landed roughly in Level 6. [See picture above.] "Gosh, it's so dark in here. I can barely see my own hands.", he told himself. But that made him panic more; if you were here, you could've easily disappeared already.

Blue found his vision fade slightly. His legs buckled underneath, he had to support himself on the wall. His weapon slipped through his fingers it fell with him on the ground. His mask was the same as always, but his soul shattered in thousand pieces. The darkness flooded into his head as thoughts of you hurt or worse dying fell into place. The worst part is it looks so real in his head. Blue grew dizzy as his breating quickened like a dying heart. His heart, his care for you; it's all slowly fading.
He disappointed himself. There was no such time where he... ended in such misery like this. There too much despair in his soul, too muc stress, too much worries. Blue's responsibilities for you held the pressure to keep you safe at all cost. He himself would give up everything; his life, his belongings - he would sacrifice it all if it means you get to see another day to live. In a place like this...
Demons entered his thoughts. They poisonee his head and sought him deeper into guilt and shame. They told him lies, lies that he was the one in blame to put. He shook his head. ,,No! I did everything I could! I didn't do it!", he yelled to no one. Is that it? Is that how Wanderes lose their minds? Crying for their loved ones? He finally understood soemthing he asked himself so long ago: Why do humans tend to be so complicated? Now he knows the answer: Feelings. As long as an inteligent being feels in an amount where it's impulsive to their actions and thoughts, then there cannot and never be and explanation.
His mind gave up. Blue swore he saw the faces of other entities grinning down at him. They're waiting until he's completly collapsed, so they can feast from his soul to feed their own. It was tormenting. The Partypooper was unable to differnece reality and hallucination. Behind his mask, his eyes rolled into his head as the world turned more black. He accepted it, he failed to reach you. He finally accepted he's useless on his own.

,,Blue?", a soft voice rang through his head.
Suddenly, his mind cleared on it's own at the angelic voice his love held. The Partypooper gazed up with anticipation to see you smiling friendly at him. ,,It's ok. I'm here. Alive and well.", they hushed his shattered self. The partners in crime embraced themselves in a way which cannot be written words. The understanding feeling the shared, they knew they're meant to be. How the demons shrieked away with disgust - oh, it's mesmerizing to Blue.
,,Are you real?", Blue murmured in disbelieve. Y/N retracted themself from him. ,,Yes. Yes, it's me, Y/N. I'm here - right here. I came looking for you as soon as I could, but... I was- I was held back a bit.", they exhaled with a wheeze. ,,It doesn't matter now. I'm glad to have you here." The relieve they both shared held passion and care. None of them wanted to break the contact, but they had to in order to get to safety. Y/N gently kissed the top of his mask and helped him stand up. He froze. ,,Why are you covered in blood?!", the Partypooper yelled.
,,I had some business to do...?", Y/N replied innocently.
