Tommyinnit was walking to a store for some papers, paint, and some pencils. He didn't have much money so he bought what little money he had from his foster parents, who were very nice people, who were always trying to make sure their kids ate and slept.
Tommy got to the store and looked at all the different colors, but before he could get an idea of what color he wants to do something caught his eye. It was colored chalk, which he knew what it was used for and it wasn't very expensive. So, he decided to go grab himself a few boxes and get a couple boxes of chalk.
Tommy picked up two boxes and went to pay, he paid for the two things he bought and went back outside to take the stairs to his apartment. Once inside of his apartment, Tom set his stuff down next to his door and grabbed his phone to send his adoptive parents a text letting them know he got home safely. He also sent one message to his foster father telling him that he'll be home in less than an hour, knowing the other man was probably working. The teen sat down on the couch and looked at all the paint cans laying around the room. The paint could probably go in here, he figured. He took off his jacket and laid it out beside him, taking out a marker and putting it on the table in front of him. After taking out all of his markers and writing 'I'm bored' on a note pad he put it all away so it wouldn't break when he unpacked the rest of his stuff, then he pulled out his sketchpad and began to draw.
He was drawing the whole time, his fingers moving over the paper almost without thinking. He drew all kinds of shapes and things, he even drew a cat that was sitting there and looking like it was judging Tommy because he was drawing it. Tommy was actually pretty happy about the way the painting looked, but he also felt kind of bad that it made the cat look judgmental. Tommy thought it looked cool, though, he was just glad he finished drawing it because he had no more space left on the sheet where he was drawing it.
The blond put down the sketchpad and stood up to find everything else he needed to unpack, including a box to hold the stuff that he bought. Once everything was stored in the box and the stuff was placed in his bedroom, he decided to watch TV and wait for foster parent to get home. He had his favorite cartoon show on because his foster family loved watching it with him, and it made Tommy feel better.
It hadn't been long after that when his foster parents came home from work, they walked into his apartment and noticed that their son had already unpacked all of his stuff. They both smiled at their son, who greeted them happily, and went to get ready for dinner. When Tommy finished the episode of The Wizard of Oz he said goodnight to his adopted parents and went upstairs to his bedroom. As he climbed the steps, Tommy realized that he had not thought about how late it was getting. He opened the door to his room and shut the door behind him, looking at his clock.
7:32pm. Great. I've spent the past four hours drawing and watching my favorite shows. How did this happen? Tommy wondered, setting his backpack next to the bed he had chosen to sleep in. He changed into his pajamas and turned on his laptop before going downstairs to the kitchen and getting himself a snack to eat. While eating the candy bar, Tommy remembered that it was Friday, meaning he could spend his weekend doing whatever he wanted! Tommy's face lit up at the thought of spending all weekend just drawing and messing around. That meant he could do whatever he wanted to tomorrow without any supervision. The younger male smiled, feeling extremely pleased with himself for being able to do whatever he wanted to.
Tommy finished his dinner, put the trash away in the dishwasher, and went up to his room to start his plans for the weekend.
