When they got to the studios, Chip and Dale, then walked over to the receptionist in the lobby of the building.

"Welcome gentleman. How can I help you today?" The receptionist lady with long blonde hair and glasses said politely.

"Good afternoon ma'am. We need to speak with Twilight Sparkle. Is she by any chance in her office yet?" Dale asked.

"Yes, she is. I'll let her know that you're here." The receptionist said as she grabs ahold of her desk phone and dials for Twilight Sparkle.

"Hello?" The voice on the other end of the line said in a smooth but squeaky sound.

"Miss Sparkle you have two private investigators in the lobby that would like to talk to you. Are you having any meetings right now at the moment?" The receptionist asked.l to be sure that she is available to talk.

"Oh! Of course. I'm not busy at all. Do send them in, please." Twilight Sparkle informed her in confirmation before the receptionist got off the phone and turned back to them.

"She said you can go right in. Her office should be all the way down to the right of the hallway over there." The receptionist instructed to Chip and Dale.

"Thank you so much. Come on Chip. And remember, let me do the talking first. For both of our sakes." Dale warned to Chip, whose eyes averted from him, annoyed as they walked quietly over to her office on down and knocked on the door so that they won't disrupt her.

Knock knock.

The sound of the door thumped before the mysterious Twilight Sparkle turn around and spoke loudly so that they can hear her.

"You can come in." Twilight said as Dale opens the door and lets the two of them inside her office before

"Hi there Ms. Sparkle. My name is detective Dale and this is my partner Chip." Dale simply introduced themselves while Twilight awes in admiration when she recognized who they were.

"Oh! I've heard about you guys. You're from that kids show, right? The Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers? I'm such a huge fan growing up." Twilight said, enthusiastically.

"Yes that was us. But now we are licensed and on offical business as actual private detectives in a small privately owned company. But if we ever get into a sticky situation, we always have our chief of police friend from the NYPD department to help us out as well." Dale explained as a side note to inform Twilight, in case she happens to be the main culprit, that they are very serious in their investigation.

But so far, Twilight has not shed one obvious sign of fear or nervousness.

Which meant that she would be a much more tougher person of interest to crack up in confession at the hands of the police.

"Well, good for you guys. So, what is it that I can do for you two today?" Twilight asked, politely with a simple smile.

"Well, we were hoping that you would take the time to sit down and answer some of our questions for a case involving missing political figures all around this city." Dale informed.

"Oh sure, it's no problem. I had watched about them on the news. It must be so heartbreaking to see their families all torn up in their losses. But I do hope that you can find them all very soon." Twilight said in a tone that seemed off and yet, luring in suspicion.

"Thank you, your words would mean a lot for us. Now then, moving onto the first question in mind. Have you ever...." Dale was going to say as he took out a notepad to write down her responses, until suddenly he was cut off abruptly by Chip!

"Do you happen to being using any kind of magical portals at this time?" Chip asked in fast paced tone before he was stopped by Dale.

"Chip! I thought we talked about this! Let me do the interview." Dale said in irritation.

"Oh don't worry. He's all good. It's your job to know about these things, right? Follow me." Twilight said before the two could even get a chance to talk about their agreement and followed her on over until she picked an isolated spot near the back of the studio stages, that would be big enough space to pull up a portal out of nowhere.

"Alright now, I need you two to step back a little so that I can show you both how they work." Twilight instructed before the aura of her magic slowly surrounded her horn and shot out into the open while the two moved back in safe distance as told.

To which the aura circled around into a form of a blackish and mystical looking portal with a significant amount of purplish-pinkish hue around the edges of it.

Exactly like the footage on the night when Chip lost his memory in the back of that alley at the DA's event party.

"And just like that, this portal should be able to take you anywhere that you desire. Including, perhaps might I say, our own home in Equestria." Twilight explained before her horn quickly faded its aura and automatically deletes the portal from existence in a matter of seconds.

"I see. We'll have to write this up as clue in our investigation. Because this may very well be the transportation used in the disappearances of the victims." Dale informed her while scribbling down his notes.

"Oh my. You don't think me or my friends have anything to do with this, do you? Are we being charged for these crimes detective?" Twilight asked in a quite possibly acting phase of shock in her voice.

"No...." Dale was going to say before he was interrupted again.

"Twilight Sparkle of My Little Pony in Equestria, you are under arrest for the kidnappings of those politicians. Now, place out your hands, ma'am. You are now coming with us back to the Station." Chip blurted out to her before Dale quickly got in front of him to block any further movements that he might make.

"Chip! That's enough. If you open your mouth again one more time, I'll have you locked up in the back trunk of my car! And I mean it. So don't you even think that I'll be soft with you either just because you're amnesic." Dale threatened him in a firm tone, and pointing his fingers at him.

"Ugh. Fine." Chip said, throwing his arms up in defeat and backed away as Dale then turns over to Twilight Sparkle to clear up the mess.

"Anyways, to answer your question. No, you are NOT being charged. But we would like it if you stuck around in town in case we need more information about anybody involved with their disappearances." Dale informed her.

"Oh no problem. I have loads to do this week anyways. The production crew wanted me to rehearse for the new season finale of Equestria Girls." Twilight said with a smile before glancing over at Chip with a somewhat sinister look on her face as if she knew that she was in the clear for now.

"That'll be great then. Thank you so much for your time. And we will talk again real soon." Dale said politely before giving Chip a scorning look and grabbed him tightly by the arm to keep him from making anymore dumb moves as they escort themselves out of the premises.

Once they were out of the building and of earshot, Chip immediately pulled away from Dale and protested against his methods of investigating.

"Dale! You can't be telling me that you don't think it's her because I know it is. She's the mastermind. She did it." Chip insisted angrily.

"Oh, yeah? And how are you going to prove that? You can't just convict someone based solely off of your 'gut instincts'." Dale said, rolling his eyes.

"I don't need proof. I can sense it. It's in my blood. I can feel it." Chip said, determinedly.

"No, it's in your head but even if it were true, we would need a warrant to come back and search out the place." Dale said, shaking his head in dismay.

"We don't have time to wait around for some piece of paper when we should simply use her portal instead." Chip suggested.

"Oh boy. Sigh. Okay, fine. We'll do it your way for now. But first, let's head back to my place so that I can pick up a couple things before we sneak out way in." Dale said, rubbing his head aggravated before the two then walked their way over  to the car and drove off to Dale's house so that they can grab any resources needed for their secret break-in.

Where they would eventually have a memorable time of their lives in a new world that was just waiting ahead of them.
