Chapter Two

The next day before Miki had to go back to school for practice, I took her swimming. I was teaching her how to swim with a amulet. It makes her feel safe. The amulet was turquoise. When she finally learned to swim I let her swim under water and stuff, I didn't go in though, just to hide my tail.
"MOMMY!" Miki screamed, in horror.
I ran over to her and she had a turquoise tail, and she shot Turquoise water out of her! She then saw my tail.
"You're a mermaid like me honey." I calmly said calming her down. She then got excited. I taught her everything.
"Now, what did I tell you that was most important" I asked.
"Never ever tell anyone that I'm a mermaid no matter how good of friends we are!" She yelled. Thank god no one heard.
"Shh." I whispered giggling. After her practice I went out to shop. I left Miki with her best friend MeMe. We live in a secret town called, Eskimo. We have our own language, but 92% of us speak English. Yet we still know our language. And I secretly wasn't going to the store, I am meeting a guy I've been secretly dating for 2 years now. Online mostly. I think he didn't know I can speak English.. cause he talked Eski the whole time. Maybe he doesn't speak English..
"Olleh" He said
"I can speak English" I whispered.
"Oh thank goodness!" He said.
"So we've been dating for 2 years now right Meana?" He asked
"Yes, you are correct Jesclo (Juh-Esk-clow)" I answered.
He got down on one knee.
"No, No, I'm going to cry." I started tearing with joy.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
"No." I lied.
"WHAT" he yelled.
"I'm just kidding, Yes of course I will!" I yelled.
I texted MeMe's mom and I stayed the night at Jesclo's because we went out to eat and it was late after.
