The Omega

The Doc

This time Nikoli would not miss seeing the little Omega wake up. He was by her side day and night. The other Alpha's be damned. He wasn't going to sit with the rest of them discussing politics when he could be near his Omega.

After the pack doctor had come to the graveyard and seen the Omega, she had ordered us to bring her to the hospital. She was in shock. Nikoli didn't understand how that could be bad, but he was told after several agonizing hours of watching the pack doctor attend to her. When going into shock like that it could permanently damage her mentally.

Nikoli was afraid for his little Omega. She already had so many scars, please let her come away from this one okay.

His worry was transparent to the doctor because she then reassured me that the Omega was a fighter. Nothing had been damaged, she was perfectly fine, despite all her previous injures and scars that we still had no idea where they had come from.

Nikoli heard movement from next to him. The Omega was beginning to wake up. She was so cute. Her little legs stretched out, and she let out a yawn to reveal small shiny white canines and a little pink tongue. She suddenly flickered her eyes open and moved them till they rested on him.

She seemed confused for a moment until she took in my scent. Her eyes widened and she was suddenly on her paws and leaping from bed to bed. Nikoli would have laughed at the sight of the little Omega bed hopping had he not realized she was heading for the bed closest to window from before. She wouldn't be able to escape, he had made sure the window was barred.

The idea that she would run from him, made him feel sad. Was he not good enough for her. The Omega finally realized that the window was barred once she was on the bed next to it. He quickly stood up and walked slowly towards her.

"Hey, hey it's okay. Little Omega your safe." Nikoli whispered as he slowly inched his way toward her. She seemed to be processing his words. At least that's what he hoped she was doing. He hoped she believed that she was safe with him, because she was. Nothing was going to hurt her.

Still the Omega looked unconvinced. He didn't know what to do. Nikoli never spent much time with pups, he didn't even know if she was one. This seemed like a situation close to one though so he linked the doctor telling her that the Omega was awake.

Nikoli was still walking toward the Omega, who was crouched up against the wall on top of the bed when the doctor walked in.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!" The doctor shouted."Do you want to scare the poor thing. Back. Back"

The doctor had moved in front of Nikoli while trying to push him out of the room. Normally he would be angry with someone so bluntly disrupting him. Doctors though he could not be angry with. They had clearance to do anything to safe their patients and for now that was getting their Alpha out of the room.

Nikoli didn't like being kicked out but he followed the Doc's orders and left the room.

The Alpha was pushed out of the room by a very small female. Pandora couldn't wrap her mind around the whole ordeal. Why didm't he kill her the second she laid a hand on him. Maybe this Alpha was just weak.

The female that pushed the Alpha out of the room turned to Pandora when the Alpha closed the door behind him.

"Sorry Little Miss, males tend to become obsessive when they find something to their liking. I am very sorry for you Little Miss but you fit the bill, or paw." The female laughed at what she had said.

Pandora didn't understand.

"You Little Miss look very confused. Let me explain. My name is Leah Verdo, I like everyone to call me Doc because it reminds me that I am a good Doctor. I am a good Doctor, just gotta tell you that in case you think I am an unqualified little hussy who cheated her way to be here. That's not me Little Miss, no sir.

"I love walks in the forest with my mate. I hate ants, always have. I love all kinds of food. I also love to help people, which is why I am here today with you. Okay now I just told you about me, let me tell you about yourself.

"I see a small wolf. Not a pup but not a normal wolf, which tells me you are an Omega. I checked you up and determined you had been abused for a long time. Lots of scars and healed bones. I know you are a girl for the obvious reasons. I also know that you are very strong.

"Your muscles are very defined for a small wolf such as yours. I know you haven't shifted into human form for many years. I don't know why but I can see that your bones are very strong and haven't been shifted into Human size for a long time.

"I know you are very smart. I have seen the footage from when you escaped. You had logically scanned the whole room and found a way to escape without anyone noticing.

"I also know that you are not a child, you are at least sixteen. I saw the Canine teeth that come only when a wolf turns sixteen. Now Little Miss the only thing I don't know but really wish I could know is your name.

"I would ask that you mind link me the answer. I know Omega's can mind link anyone, no matter which pack they belong too. You don't have to answer you can just keep sitting there listening to me talk. Let me tell I will talk, my mate says..."

Pandora was amazed. This female knew many things about herself. She was smart, and calculated like herself. Pandora hadn't noticed but while the female was talking she had positioned her self into a comfortable position.

Pandora liked the female, Leah. She pondered telling the female her name. It wouldn't hurt for anyone to know her name. It would get everyone to stop calling her Omega. She didn't need so many reminders about who she was.

She noticed that the female was still talking. This female was strong, confident, and smart. Yes she could trust this female. For the time being at least.

Pandora...

Leah stopped talking. She didn't think that the Omega would actually tell her, her name. Yet, she did. Pandora. Leah walked closer to Pandora. She was already pretty close. While talking to her, she had slowly moved forward. When Leah talked she knew people around sometimes felt that she could be trusted.

Leah used this to try and warm up to the Omega and it worked.

"Pandora. Is that your name?" Leah questioned.

The little wolf nodded her head.

"Thats, a very pretty name. You know I once had a cousin..."

Hours later Leah couldn't tell how long she had stood there talking to her patient. Pandora had sometimes nodded or smirked a little when she told the little wolf, stories about her self.

Pandora was fun to talk to. Some people, other than her mate, they would drone her out and stop listening. Not Pandora. By the time Leah had relized it was dark out and she had to go home, Leah was fully sitting on the same bed as the little Omega.

She felt honored that Pandora was starting to trust her. Leah hoped that maybe, she could get the little pup to eventually trust her Alpha. The poor wolf. Leah could see it in his eyes that he wanted to be loved by the Omega.

Time....

Pandora just needed time...
