Anashé

The drive back to Oakland's Apartments was relatively silent. I was tipsy and sleepy. Today was a long day, from work to an outing. Malikai was as smooth a driver as he was a talker, so it wasn't hard to doze off at times. When he stopped the car, I eased up off the seat to look around. Oh...wi reach.

"You're home, beautiful." He breathed. Looking over at him I pouted with dimmed eyes. He chuckled as his light, mischievous eyes looked down at me with carnal intent. I knew what the I wanna fuck you face looked like. I sat up and looked at the man, keen on only admiring him to his face. What was the point of hiding? We can look at art from afar, can't we? He smiled, shyly and leaned back in the seat, shaking his head. His beautiful smile and those perfectly sized gorgeous full lips, and his light brown eyes that look through you and never just at you. He fixed my car; besides our first and second encounters, he's been great to me.

So what? Man usually nice to yuh. All him want is to say he's fucked his lecturer. Him just want the bragging rights.

Maybe...

And you can't know say anno that him goin' do, so avoid him.

Christ man! Why'd you have to be my student?

"You looked amazing tonight,Anashè," He smiled, "wanted to tell you from the moment I picked you up, but I was nervous that it might have meant I was crossing your imaginary lines."

Oh, shit...Yam, relax yuh front!

"Thanks, Malikai," I smirked, " you looked handsome, as well."

"Eee? A True?" He joked, and I play-punched him in the arm.

"You damn well know yuh cute," I rolled my eyes, feigning annoyance. "Girls must drool over you daily."

He smiled and shook his head, " I hadn't taken much notice, my mind is usually on other important matters, but I appreciate the compliment though. I hope we aren't crossing any of your lines here."

I thought about it, "No, compliments are fine when I'm not sober enough to overthink them."

"Do you overthink a lot?"

"I'd say I think thoroughly, sometimes to my own detriment." I felt slightly lightheaded, so I laid back on the seat but kept my body turned to him. He turned to face me properly, too.

"So what would happen now if I asked you to answer a few questions without thinking at all about your answers?"

My brows furrowed, "I'd be forced to be honest, I guess."

"So can we try that?" His tone was endearing, friendly and his eyes just gave off a vibe-like he just truly wanted to get to know me. I nodded, trying best to not think. "Okay, let's be candid, complete honesty, zeen?"

I nodded and his eyes searched mine, and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He never just looks at me....him fully a work guzzo when him look pon me! Because I can't understand this feeling at all! Reaching over, he swept my hair behind my ears and the warm tips of his fingers grazed my neck. Oh rass...

"I like you," He smiled, "every damn thing about you, at least so far. Knowing that I've only scratched the surface is making me wanna get to know you even more. "

Oh? Well...that was-sweet. There these butterflies go again doing the stookie in my belly.

"I like you, too," I sighed, trying to think about what lines are being crossed. "As perplexing as it is, you are exactly my type of guy. It's just sad that you're my student."
