Y/n's Pov

Sounds of cars and people talking woke me up. What I saw before my eyes was something out of a nightmare. I stood up and walked around. I eventually found some broken glass on the ground and picked it up to make sure I wasn't bleeding anywhere. What I saw shifted my whole perspective. When I fell asleep, I was in th hospital. I don't remember why. But I saw I had horns that rested on top of ny head. That's odd. I swear my beanie wasn't on my head the last time I checked. Whatever, I guess. I moved the mirror to check my body for cuts and bruises (besides the one on my ass). I noticed my clothes were more. . . revealing. Glancing around, nobody was around (thankfully). I also noticed there was a tail protruding from my. . . backside? Am I in hell? AM I dreaming? Is this a nightmare? I better find some shelter soon. Running has never been my strong suit, but it'll have to do for now. Over here? No, too sketchy. Oh whaddayaknow? A hotel for sinners who want to be redeemed. Imma check it out since it looks like it's about to rain.

I didn't exactly know the time, nor did   I care, but the sky looked darker since I woke up (or rather arrived i suppose).

Judging my experience from highschool, this is what Hell is like. Lots of people, noisy a time (except at night) and drugs n' sex. Maybe I should find somewhere safe for the night, at least to sleep. I recall seeing flyers for this llace called"Happy Hotel". Something about 'redemption'. Oh wait, there was an address! It was xxx, xxxx lane. I decided to put on my hood to keep out of sight, in case of predators or dangerous demons. Sulking in the shadows is easy especially if no one knows you. The only lights that illuminated the streets were the street lamps, headlights on cars and the lights from stores! Sure, any demon could look up at the sky and admire its beauty, but not me. It reminded me too much of the vast, open expansion of the wilderness. There, no one can help you, not even the animals. Why, oh fucking why did no one come. I come abandoned by people I once considered friends---no acquaintances. Fuck them.

I sighed. One day, revenge will be the last thing they experience before death arrives.

I had arrived at the hotel. Glancing at it a bit closer, the sign read "Hazbin Hotel" instead. Was that intentional lr an accident? Nevertheless, I stroll to the door. Do I knock? Do I open it? NO, this is a Hotel, I should just waltz in no problem. Right? Opening the door (or doors perhaps) a small---no--- dwarf-like cyclops demon greets me!

Oh my goodness! Another demon willing to be redeemed! How wonderful! I'll get Alastor and Charlie!" she gushed.

Who was she? And more importantly, who are Alastor and Charlie? Someone important maybe. Might as well sit down and relax a bit I mean, it literally just started to rain as I entered here. Is it possible that I have weather powers? Nah. Seems stupid not gonna lie. Walking for an hour and a half mafe me tired, maybe I can ask for some grub. A blonde woman approached me along with a tall red demon with antlers and a frightening grin. Are they Charlie and Alastor?

"Hello! Welcome to the Happy Hotel! I'm Charlie Morningstar, what's your name?"

'Oh, I'm Y/N L/N. I'm pretty sure I'm new in hell so I don't know anything about it yet. I was hoping to stay here so I can redeem myself.' I managed to sputter out

"Silly, foolish demon-" muttered the deer demon

"Alastor! You know how business was these past weeks! Be more polite and try to stay positive!" Charlie retorted

Nevertheless, Alastor kept grinning. Maybe he just likes to smile or he doesn't let it get to his head.

"Sorry about that! If you wish to stay here, you will have to fill out a few forms. Sounds good? If you have any questions, feel free to let me or Alastor know " Charlie beamed

'Uh, yeah sure. Thank you by the way.'
As Charlie and Alastor were leaving, an idea popped into my head.

'Actually, I was wondering about getting a job here, if it's not too much. . .'

Charlie smiled so big, it looked like she just saw the biggest rainbow. I wish that was an understatement.

"Omigoshomigoshomigosh! I have the perfect job for you! Come find me after you've comepleted your forms!" she excitedly squealed

"I'd count myself lucky, Charlie is usually never this happy about someone wanting to work here. I'm Vaggie, Charlie's girlfriend." the purple moth demon annouced

Maybe it'll be a nice place here, only time will tell. Better start on these forms ot they'll never get done.
