"I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick. I'll be right back. Watch my drink for me, darling." Kazuha said before kissing your cheek and getting out of her seat.

As she disappeared around the corner and down the hall of the cafe to the restroom, you occupied yourself with the snack in your hand and your phone on the table.

But the sudden tap on your shoulder startled you and you quickly turned your head to see a familiar face.

"Sorry, Y/N, I didn't mean to scare you."

You stared at your ex-girlfriend in shock and attempted to try and find the words to say.

Your relationship with your ex had been sorta rough.

You didn't end on good terms as she ended up cheating on you and during your relationship, she didn't treat you the way you deserved.

So it felt refreshing when you left her and met Kazuha a few weeks later and it's all thanks to her that you know what a relationship is supposed to be like now.

You were met with flashbacks of the heartache and sadness she caused you during your relationship and when you finally found your voice and the things you needed to say, your ex began to caress your arm.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm here getting a coffee. How about you, angel?"

"Don't call me that." You said with a confused expression. "I didn't mean it that way, anyway. I meant what are you doing talking to me and touching me? I told you the night we ended things - I don't want anything to do with you again."

"But that's all water under the bridge now, sweetheart." She said and you shook your head.

"Not for me." You said. "Now, just tell me what you want so you'll leave me alone after."

"But I don't want to leave you alone, Y/N. I miss you." She confessed.

"What?"

"I miss you and I want you back. I want us to get back together."

"Are you out of your mind?" You asked, raising your voice slightly.

This caught the attention of others in the cafe, including your girlfriend.

"She sure seems like she is," Kazuha said as she returned to your side.

"Who are you?" Your ex scoffed at Kazuha.

"Y/N's girlfriend and future wife, how are you?" Kazuha asked with a fake smile as she extended her hand out for your ex to shake it.

"You moved on?" Your ex asked you, as if you dared to do such a thing after being broken up for several months.

"Yeah, I did. Why haven't you?"

"Because I miss you!"

"Well, the feeling isn't mutual," Kazuha answered for you. "She doesn't miss you and she's not getting back together with you."

Your ex huffed angrily, nostrils flaring as she stared at Kazuha unhappily.

"You had your chance and you blew it. Y/N told me what you did and you were an idiot for it. You can regret it and apologize but you need to move on because she has and she's my girl now. She'll never be yours again."

You snuggled up to Kazuha with a genuine look of happiness on your face and your ex knew that she wasn't going to win this.

You'd never be hers again.

"Whatever." She grumbled before storming out of the cafe.

You sighed in relief before wrapping your arms around Kazuha and melting into her warm touch and embrace.

"Thank you for that. I can't believe she'd ever think I'd get back with her."

"She knows better now, doesn't she?" Kazuha grinned.

"Oh, yeah," You Silesia before kissing her lips.

"Don't let her ruin our day, alright? Come on, let's finish our date here and then we'll go home and cuddle."

You sat down in your seat once more and Kazuha sat down beside you, eating and drinking with her arm wrapped around you.

You knew that your ex had been a thing of the past and only ever would be.

Kazuha is the one for you; no one else.

You just know that she's your future wife, too.
