I was sick? That's what I heard the doctor say to Rye, but I didn't feel sick at all... Weird. I guess werewolves must not be good doctor because I was obviously not 'dangerously ill.' I mean, I get the occasional dizzy spell, or nausea. But that is natural. I've grown up with that issue. It's nothing new to me.
Maybe humans and werewolves have different things inside of their blood. That's probably why they think I'm sick. I don't understand the idea of taking blood though. I mean, how do you dissect a liquid?
Werewolves are weird. Especially doctor werewolves. Those are definitely the weirdest.
After a few minutes of what sounded like angry whispering from Rye I finally came back. I ran up to him, and asked what exactly was going on.
"Let's get you to a room. Your probably tired after such an eventful day." I knew what he was doing. He was avoiding the question. Hiding something.
People tend to think that changing the subject will mean not having to answer a question. That's not how it worked with me.
"Okay, but can you tell me what you guys talked about first." He looked down at me. Something flickering in his eyes. I think it was worry. I'd seen that in people's eyes many times.
Just as he was about to open his mouth a young girl around seventeen came charging at us. I instinctively jumped behind Rye, and hide behind him which seemed to make him chuckle.
The girl after finally reaching us was panting as she leaned forward with hands gripping her knees. When she finally stood up straight, I could see she was very tall probably around 5'8". She had long light brown hair braided over her left shoulder, and her hair was so long it that the braid ended just below her hips. She had stunning blue eyes, with long eyelashes. She was heavy with a rounded body shape, and she was absolutely gorgeous. She wore an outfit kind of like the doctors.
"RYE I HEARD YOU FOUND A HUMAN!! Can I see him please, please!" She squeaked.
Rye laughed, "well if he doesn't mind getting out from behind me, then it you could meet him. " I was caught off guard. The girl seemed nice, but that didn't mean I wouldn't be scared of her.
I stepped out from behind Rye, and greeted her. "I-I'm Pen."
"PEN? WHAT A CUTE NAME!" She squealed smiling, "oh I'm Layla!" She then turned to Rye, "Rye and I have known each other for a while, but he can be a pain in the neck!" She stopped than repetitively looked between Rye and I. "Can I use him for some tests? PLEASE!" She begged Rye.
"No, he's a human, not a test subject."
"Oh come on! As a future scientist it's important to study and learn from all the things I can!! This is a major opportunity! I mean a actual living, breathing, human!!!! What d'ya say Pen! Want to do some experiments with me?" I shook my head no taking a step back.
Layla laughed, "okay, okay. But I will be watching how you interact with people, and maybe when your a bit more comfortable we can do some simple tests like running speed." She looked thoughtful. "Oh! I almost forgot your mother had people set up his room while this cutie, " she ruffled my hair and smiled at me, "was getting a check up. Oh I know Pens going to have to take some time adjusting to this place, but maybe we can all get lunch sometime? I won't be as crazy then okay? Okay! Good! See ya guys later!" She smiled heading back to the direction she came from.
"Sorry about that," Rye said, "she may be a handful, but she's actually very sweet." Rye and I entered the elevator thing, and he put his hand on the back shiny screen thing above the floor buttons. It did this weird scan thing of his hand and then the elevator started moving.
"So you'll be staying on my floor, I believe they set up the room closest to mine for you."
I could of never even imagined what I saw when the elevator doors opened.

We stepped into the floor which was more like a man goon house.
There was a SUPER long couch, and a table in the center of three couches. There was a giant black shiny thing, I believe it's called 'the television', right in the center of the room and directly across the super omg couch that faces toward the television. To night right was a kitchen, and to my left a couple of room that seemed to be spaced out from one another. "C'mon this is your room." Rye said, pulling me his way.
We entered into the giant back and brown room, there was a giant king sized bed against the middle of the wall to me left, and across it was a big television. There was a multiple wardrobes, and also a desk wit a chair. The carver was a dark blue. All the wood win the room was a dark brown, the bed was blue with a brown pattern that seemed to look like a ton of flowers and vines connected to one another.
The room was stunning, and when Rye told me I could lay on the bed, I ran and jumped right on it. The bed was extremely comfortable.
"Before you get too comfy I want to talk about our plans for today and tomorrow. Since you're new roday, yup just need to shower, and we can eat dinner together, and then we'll go to bed. Tomorrow we may have to meet with some people... So you need to be aware of the fact that not everyone understands what humans are and do. So please stay with me, because some people might not be a fan of a human existing.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused to what he meant a it people 'not being a fan' of my existence.
"Well..."

Yay! So I'm okay! Sorry I haven't posted for so long. I was hospitalized, and yeah. But I'm getting better, slowly but surely so I should be able to update more often, although I can't say exactly when things will happen I will try to update frequently. Luckily I wrote some future chapters for my books on paper while I was hospitalized. :) I hope you guys have a lovely day!
